Kyle gathers up the cards and deals again. Yua would note that she's been left a pretty strong starting hand. Kyle simply raises an eye brow as he puts a tenacious 100 into the pot.

This evidently reminds Yua of the existence of her own lunch, which is a set of packaged sushi that she begins to eat as she looks over her cards and puts in a matching 100. "Last hand?"

[Twinwolf]

The students in the cafeteria, with the principal and police officer out of sight, start returning to the lunch lines. Anna and the others, having got a head start, got their pick of food and seats, so good for them.

Soon after they sit down, a boy sits with them. Anna recognizes him as the head of her tabletop games (usually DnD) club, Sasaki Ichirou. He waves.

Anna waves back in a subdued manner.

Kyle nods as he lays down the river. Yua would note that it brings her up to three of a kind. Kyle just raises it by 200.

Yua not only calls but raises the pot by a further 100, as devoid of a facial expression as she ever is, and then looks Kyle right in the eyes.

Victor starts sweating.

Kyle sets down the next card (Yua would note that she got nothing out of that) before going all in.

Victor sweats harder.

And in goes the matching number of chips -- it was that or lose her lead, and she felt she had far too good of a position to allow that to happen.

Hinata waves cheerfully at the new arrival. "Hiiii. Are you Anna's friend?"

"Oooooh, who's he?"

"He, um, runs the D&D club.  Well technically tabletop club but you know.  Close enough.  And stuff.

Oh.  His name's Sasaki."

Sasaki nods. "Nice to meet you all. Did you hear what the commotion was about?"

"Police.  Let's...Just eat?  I'd rather not unless we know why they're here."
