   Welcome to space, the final frontier, there were some pretty crazy space pirates back in the day, guys running around with impossible powers and stuff right out of the Star Wars films, but eventually it started to slow down a bit, (Space Pirating is hard with this many Space Marines running around), before this guy called Gol D. Roger got caught, and gave those wild last words that started the Space Age of Piracy all over again.

So now Pirates are going crazy, scouring the universe for that elusive treasure, some believe it is all a hoax, a ploy by the SM Megacorp to lure out those who might be wiling to become pirates so they can swell their coffers and prove their worth in the public eye.

But not you apparently, You seem to believe the old fart, So I'll tell you this much, it will be a wild ride, you will meet daring friends, and dastardly enemies, fight epic battles, and solve elusive puzzles, and hell... You might just find it!

Your adventure starts now.

It's One Piece in space, literally.  D-Rations replace Devil Fruit, and Space is in front of Pirates and Marines now.  Islands are planets, Space is the ocean, Vacuums are seawater, and You are space pirates.

This game runs off of the Pyramid System, Basically, you get a set amount of Blocks to make a Pyramid out of, the higher it is on the pyramid, the stronger it is, it is influenced by the two blocks below it.  ANYTHING can be a block, From points in your charecter's Backstory, their gear, anything RELEVANT to who they are as a character can be a block, blocks are used as Skills Stats, and Backstory all in one.  You will start with 5 Blocks with which to put relevant aspects of your charecter.

All rolls are handled via ratio,

Tier 3 verses Tier 2, 2/3 chance to survive.

Tier 2 verses Tier 3, 2/3 chance to

Tier 2 verses Tier 1, 1/2 chance to survive.

Tier 2 verses Tier 2, 1/2 chance to survive (Both sides).

Tier 1 verses Tier 1, 1/2 chance to survive (Both sides)

Tier 1 Verses Tier 3, 2/3 chance to survive.

Tier 3 verses Tier 1, 1/3 chance to survive.

lastly, You don't Die, you are just taken out of the fight for one reason or another,

Also, In the case of equal rolls, an attacking enemy has a chance to be countered if they fail.

If you have a block taken out, the things balanced on top of it drop in power to that removed block's level.

Combat basically amounts to Figuring out enemy weaknesses and not having your own weaknesses targeted.  People will be taken out often, and Combat will be fast paced and involve Very long winded turns and actions that are resolved in some cases in as little as 1 roll.

Yeah, One Piece in space is the theme, I don't know.  If it is that big a problem i can just restrict harder.

She wears, outside of her space suit, a more traditionally pirate-y outfit, including a tricorne hat, a trenchcoat, and a belt with several different swords of different kinds on it. When discretion- I.E. not being blatantly a pirate- is required, she wears a variety of clothes, although usually in brown and green colors.
The McCree family have been in the 'business' of piracy for decades. Usually it's the males, with the females being the ones that eventually force the pirate to settle down, before the cycle begins again. Lena is the exception to the gender roles of the family, taking after her father.

A belt of swords. She seems to not run out.

I have literally always wanted to run a One Piece RPG, I can't believe someone actually beat me to it  .

Yes, if they do not have a certain volume of material between them and a vaccum, they get the same symptoms of the Devil Fruit users to water.

You know, Haki. That thing where they turn their fist/sword ETC black so they can hit things harder, among other things. Introduced in the...Sabaody arc, I think, around episode 380. Right after Thriller Bark.
