Don't do it unless you're both absolutely committed

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

It kills the relationship. Srsly, you can try but don't expect it to be easy. Given you meet every weekend, make every weekend count. If you start just hanging out all the weekend, doing nothing special, that's the point where it goes downhill imho.

Pamper her. Go to a massage parlour and get a nice hand massage, something to stimulate the pressure points and what-not.

Here's one for you all: How do you deal with your wife complaining that you snore too loudly?

Earplugs (for her)? Those nose strip thingies(for you)? Depends on what makes you snore.

Snore louder.

Though to be fair snoring's more of a medical thing. Maybe ask your doctor? A bunch of DIY crap around the Googles as well.

Yeah, I already know the reasons. 1: Overweight by about 10 kg. 2: Enjoy wine too much with dinner. Since I lack sufficient motivation to change either, I'm gonna go with letting sleeping dogs snore.

*hurriedly googles snore-related technical terms*

What I was meaning was rather if you snored because of sleep apnea, your nasal passages not holding up, or a ... soft palate. Huh. Dunno what that means.

Evidently different treatment things work differently depending on which of those it'd be.

Check with your primary doc, and insurance if they will cover a sleep study.  You will learn how much % oxygen you are consuming during sleep.  They might even prescribe you those breathing machines if you have sleep apnea.

Long term, this issue will degrade your quality of life.  Kinda like a spiral going down.  Can't sleep much.  You sleep, but still wake up tired.  You compensate of getting energy by overeating.  You choose not to do anything about it, and that is your right.  Until older age issues come creeping in: bad knees, joint pains, bad back, lower metabolism makes it much harder to shed the extra weight.

And then some day you may get that energy and motivation, but your tired body isn't up to the task.  You lift some weights, maybe just doing planks and other core exercises, and your recovery time spans from 1 day interval to 3 or more days interval.
