"And then when its guard is down we can put poison in its oil!"

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

Jake says with an puzzled tone :

"Isn't that just a lone creature ? It doesn't seem to be much of a treat to me."

"I could try Sapping it, but I have no idea who's hand he'd get bounced back to. Let me bring out Doctor Boom, he works good with 'bots."
There's no way we'll beat that thing in direct combat! It's Power and Toughness must be something like 400 each, rough estimate, in a game where even 6 would be strong. If you can send it back to its owner's hand, that's fine, as it was summoned with a combo that we can make work only once.

To demonstrate his point, them Commissar points the Mega Battle Cannon at the Myr Adapter and fires.

"W-which is why I was suggesting we befriend it! If I can get it to join our side, then we don't have to fight it!"

Hakeem scratches his chin. "You are right. We are going to need a lot of Boom Bots."

Faceless Summoner is still running around screaming.

Kisa sighs and goes for it, because as usual nobody listens to her.
Target: Myr Adapter
Active Tamagotchi: Ginjirotchi
Action: Play with Myr Adapter

"I'm not sure how well what is essentially a machine under the planeswalker's direct control can be befriended, but go for it. Anything's worth a try right now."

"If it has no mind, it's a lot easier to turn to my side. T-the mirror image proves it."
Indeed, the mirror image Kisa befriended earlier waves at them, currently also in Kisa's form.

Jake sighs :
"My cards take too long to set up, I will let you all take care of it."

"If you have anything, anything at all that can put a dent in that thing, start setting it up. And even if it can't, do so anyway, as if this comes to brute force, we probably don't stand a chance unless everyone throws everything at it."

((...Hm.

We need something to put a dent in it, right?

Are we subject to the rules of our card game right now?))
