"So they don't think the mine was stolen by some card-bandits or something. Those are probably a thing, right?"

VML laughs as well. Red-Eyes seems a fraction interested himself.

"Yo, someone pick up this weapons cache please?"
The Commissar turns the Baneblade to go pick it up.

"Well, let's get a move on. I'm riding the tank." Daisuke goes to do so.

Victoria Mallory Logan simply mounts Red-Eyes, to his suppressed, glare-based fury.

"That was certainly a mission. Honestly, it seemed a little anticlimactic."

"Hey, what about the golems that are still there ? Doesn't it seem suspicious ?"

"They're suspicious, sure, but we can't do much to them that a more specialized investigative team couldn't do better. I vote we just report back and have such a team tagged in to take care of the aftermath as well as see if my hypothesis of another gem mine is correct."

Feelin rather useless, Daxos collects his used cards and puts his deck away. He proceeds to exit the area, shrugging about the ease of collecting a simple card with lazy guards.

"This mission was one of those anticlimactic ones, but life is full of climaxes. Don't let the first mission get your spirits down, we can chase our dreams and keep on the road to success in bigger, better missions coming up. As Wayne Gretzsky once said: "You fail 100% of the missions you don't accept."

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.
