Leslie takes on a nervous tone.

Daniel pulls back the hammer of his new antique, slightly disappointing with the lack of a dramatic click.

"Plus, we are armed now. With all five of us, there would have to be at least five of them to be a real threat. I only see one guy."

Leslie takes on a nervous tone.
"B-But you wouldn't be alive without me..."

"Without your parents. Therefore, your parents where leader. Now that they are gone, the responsibility goes to the most handsome. Which is me!"

He gradually makes his way up to the house. His steps stir the dust of the farmland. Daniel defends the newcomer from being fired upon, as well as asserting himself as the 'leader' based upon nothing but duct tape and looks. The newcomer reaches the house. The group sees he has no weapons whatsoever, so murderer, nope. Possible friend, yep.

"Of all the idiots to be stuck in the apocalypse with..."

Leslie cracks a smile and in a genuine tone.
"He's our idiot."

"Daniel your really not helping your case..."

Whoosh. As always, my jokes fly right over her head.

I guess things don't make 'Whoosh' sounds anymore, do they? I'll have to invent an alternative expression.
