[Lorence:4, Iron maiden: 5] Entangled by vines Lorence quickly moved his hand towatds knife, but it started strenghtening it's grip over his body! He fought with the vine and finally grabbed the knife, but vine's grip over his body got much stronger. It seems that it'd retract spikes soon!

Dustan Hache, Fisk Black, Viltriskia Nikita and Bill Alabaster vs Gher

Emerge from the medic's building and try to flank the controllers. Use my intuition to try and judge the best angle to do so, then attack.

((Sorry, I was preoccupied yesterday with reading some mangas. And my phone didn't tell me about the update and this morning, we got better internet so it was down for a few hours.))

This isn't going well.

Move to fire at the flesh giants and try and help hold the line, but back away if it seems we are going to be over realm and try and find an exit to sneak out of

[Dustan: 1, Controllers: 2] Dustan left medical barrack and came to the battlefield. Immediately he got overwhelmed by all the fighting around. He never seen mutants fight with such ferocity. Then he noticed soldiers shooting each other, and that in fact they're under effect of controllers' psionic waves! Dustan had to quickly act before all soldiers would die. He tried to intuitively judge best angle to attack controllers, but being completely overwhelmed he just ran straight into their line of sight. Luckily mutants were focusing mostly on controlling soldiers, so they gave him only a quarter of their attention - pushing him back with psionic emission, far to the CHP entrance! Dustan hit the metal gate with his head and lost consciousness! His skull got slightly cracked after such a heavy hit!

Retreat to the sniper towers! - Fisk shouted to everyone, thinking that situation on the ground is looking bad and escaping to towers would help. Well, he didn't knew that soldiers on the ground are either dead or controlled by mutants, and that he's on the only standing tower!

[Bear-bat: 1, Fisk: 2] Then he saw a bear-bat take-off from barracks rooftop and fly full speed at the tower... and missed! The mutant smashed through walls of nearby building. It might take a long time for mutant to recover!

[Viltriskia: 2, Flesh giants: 4] Viltriskia ran to help soldiers hold the barricade by weakening flesh giants. He shot with his AKM, but mutants swiftly dodged! Viltriskia is lucky that they came back to smash barricade, or he'd end badly.

[Bill: 4, Ghoul hounds pack: 1] Bill heard screams coming from other side of barracks and rushed to back exit, loading his shotgun on the way. When he got there, he saw dead soldiers and ghoulish hounds gnawing at their corpses. Bill put his double barrelled shotgun to good use, gunning down four of six ghouls!

[Gher: 4, Soldiers: 2] Gher decided to run out of his hideout and maul some soldiers. He quickly found an easy prey - one of soldiers that broke free from controller's influence, still stunned. Gher charged at helpless human, biting viciously at one leg and breaking another with weight of his ghoulish body!

[Controllers: 3, Soldiers: 4] Dustan's attack on controllers made them slightly lose focus, resulting in few soldiers breaking free of their psionic enslavement. The rest are still shooting at themselves, and two more soldiers die.

[Flesh giants: 4, barricade: 3] Two furiouses masses of flesh are still bashing on the barricade set by soldiers. They managed to slightly damage it but it's still holding on. It won't take them too long until they'd finally break through it.

Mutants: 3 Controllers, 2 Ghoul hounds (4 killed by Bill), 2 Flesh giants, bear-bat (recovering)
CHP forces: 17 soldiers - 2 = 15 soldiers left

(okay, one: I dunno who the F*** you are rolling for here, but it sure as hell aint me. For one, the name doesn't match...

((Damn, I always seem to switch your char's name with someone else, while I'm still applying end-turn effects to you properly. I'll try to write it properly next time!))

((The always [5] bonus works when player specifies that he/she wants to use it. It has a cooldown of few turns (I think that 2 turns should be enough), it's stated in skills and stats section of core rules.))

((As I written earlier, the setting is only inspired by game series. You don't have iron maiden vines, ghouls or bear-bats in games, as well as x-ray flashes or repeller artifacts. Since there are no poltergeists in this setting, I gave a strong buff to controller's psionic powers, wich allows them to use it in both mind controlling and telekinetic manner.))

((But it's not all set in stone, if you wish controllers to get nerfed, or mutants and artifacts brought straight from the games, then you and other players can vote for it. With voting you can change every aspect of this RTD, so if you want to, for example, change stats so that they'd affect base rolls instead of their outcomes, then you can vote for it to get it changed.))

Turn 102 - Dustan's reroll

((Here's the reroll. Remember that bonus affects only intuition based rolls.))

Dustan left medical barrack and immediately saw chaos in the CHP - soldiers shooting each other under influence of controllers, flesh giants smashing at the barricade and a bear-bat restnig atop barrack's rooftop. He had to do something with those controllers, so soldiers could take care of rest.

[5] Guided by his intuition, Dustan came back to the barrack, then past barricade, upstairs and to a cramped storage room with a small window. From there Dustan had a clear view of all controllers. They were forming a triangle, each turned with their back to Dustan.

[Dustan: 6, Controllers: 5] Dustan drawn his AKM and aimed at one of controllers, but something strange happened. One of controlled soldiers looked at the window with Dustan, which alarmed the controller and made it turn back towards Dustan. Stalker shot, but controller dodged and ordered soldiers shoot at the window. Dustan hidden quickly, but bullets made one of shelves fall apart and block exit! Other controllers still made them fight, which resulted in death of two soldiers.

[2] Lorence still entangled by the vine  feigns dead in hope that it would release him. But the mutated plant is not fooled by this - it's grip on Lorence's body is strong enough for it to feel blood flowing in his arteries. He's still entangled.

[Dustan: 1, Controllers: 4] Dustan peeked out of his cover in an attempt to attack a controller, but mutant was expecting him to do that! While it let other soldiers free, it started controlling Dustan!

[Fisk: 2, Bear-bat: 6] Seeing that bear-bat have landed, Fisk jumped from the tower to nearby roof, then climbed up a hole that bear-bat smashed in a building. Wih his knuckles ready, Fisk charged in hand-to-hand with powerful mutant. The beast was too quick for him and dodged most of his blows, blocking rest. Then bear-bat pushed him back and flied away... losing it's strenght mid-air and slamming into one of flesh giants! They tungle together until they hit soldier's barricade and smash it completely!

[4] Viltriskia pulled out his pistol and ran for the sniper tower. He hurriedly climbed up the ladder and got up the tower.

[3] Bill loaded his shotgun and searched for the armory. He ran around the barracks and appeared at the main square. The armory is on the other side of soldiers shooting each other.

[Controllers: 3, Soldiers: 6, Dustan: 1] Two controllers that were still holding soldiers as teir puppets decided to have some fun and ordered some of them to throw grenades! Eight soldiers died, and the group fighting was completely annihilated. The third one left mooks to die in grenades of their comrades and kept full focus on Dustan. Stalker tried to free himself, but he couldn't stop controller from forcing him aim his own AKM at his head!

[Flesh giants: 4, Soldiers: 5] While one flesh giant was recovering after bear-bat slammed into it, the second immediately rushed into battle. Soldiers tried to push it back and they slightly succeeded in keeping the mutant at bay.

[Ghoul hounds: 5, Soldiers: 1] Two ghoul hounds that were left alive ran through the back entrance and attacked soldiers from behind, killing two more soldiers.

CHP forces: 15 soldiers - 10 = 5 soldiers left!
