Lorence "Lucky" Jackson and Nix

I look for something to sit on...

[6] On top of a tree, Lorence looks for something to sit on, trying ro find a branch comfortable enough for him. It takes him a long while to find one. He also finds one of the ghouls - a man tried to commit suicide, now he's only a hanging undead. It notices Lorence and tries to climb up to him.

[2] Nix still escapes from the swarm. Seeing that the acidic fog is coming to Chernobyl, he wants to get back to the oak. He can't do that as the swarm is still chasing him through a tight alley!

[5] You and other mercenaries continue on your journey to the labs. You're almost there!

[1] You can't stop right now! You've got artifacts to sell and debitors to pay! You speed up, seeing that the buildings are getting closer. It's only a few hundred metres now. Suddenly a pack of wolves jumps out of the darkness!

[3] The alpha male walks around you with a curious look. It seems that the pack is not hostile, yet.

Fisk Black

Black ichor drips everywhere and debris flies all around. There is a strange green mist in the distance that can be seen through a window. One of the drivers is dead, abducted by swarm and eaten alive.

[1] You continue shooting, trying to hit the ghoul closing in, but suddenly your rifle jams! It seems that every mechanism of this AKM has locked! Mutant closes in.

[4] You pick up a huge chunk of debris and charge at incoming ghoul, smashing it's rotten face inside the skull.

[6] - Die, you son of a... - Colonel really tries his best, unloading an entire rifle magazine at a ghoul with exceptional constitution! He switches to pistol and fires off a few bullets in the head, but it doesn't stop the undead! It just moves on and on, yelling maddeningly.

[1] The ghoul finally charges at colonel and brings him to the ground. At first he protects himself well, but then more undead come and he quickly gets overwhelmed by the swarm. He screams in pain as they tear flesh off his bones. It's sure that he won't survive it, Colonel is dead.

[5] One of the drivers that still is alive keeps shooting at ghouls. First he unloads all his rifle magazines, wounding many of walking corpses at legs and reducing their speed. Then he switches for a pistol and shoots some more, this time elliminating a few zombies!

[1] There are only six mutants left, but it was just one part of the swarm. Another wave can be heard in the distance!

[4, 6] You try to find some source of light and manage to feel out a lightswitch in the darkness. You turn it on and look around the buildings - it's loaded to the brim with boxes of provisions, medicals and ammo! You hear footsteps. The light has attracted the mutant that killed soldiers - it has black skin and elongated head without eyes or nostrils. It's hands have three long clawed fingers and it's body is covered by short, black hair.

[2] The mutant charges. You dodge away but it still manages to wound your leg with three deep cuts!

Once they are dead, unjam the AK, and begin rebuilding the barrier. If the other driver dies, take the truck and put it in front of the open door.

((It might have spots of photosensitive cells that allow for detection of light and telling it's density - one ray of light could possibly reach that spot when reacher was looking for another prey - it detected ground vibrations that Irene steps created and jumped out of it's lair. ))

The Moon is shining brightly.

Chernobyl is glowing green as moonlight passes through acidic mist. The anomaly reached for borders of town.

[2] The ghoul keeps on climbing and manages to hold up on the branch!

[3] Lorence kicks it in the head and it falls down, rope tightening around it's neck. It still tries to scramble up though.

[6] Nix still escaping from the swarm, almost falls into the green fog that got to city's borders! Luckily there was a street lamp that he could hold on to! He also noticed a breach in the swarm, which he used to run back to the oak! Thinking that he's finally safe, he approaches the tree. Suddenly something falls down!

[1] Nix fails to dodge a ghoul falling off the sky! The corpse has a rope tied around it's neck, it seems that the hanging ghoul chewed into the rope to fall down on him!

Nix loses 5 HP

[4] You ponder on possible routes of escape from the Zone. You could swim across the shore with your rowboat, which will take you and Miriel directly out of the Zone. The risk of your boat getting destroyed is quite high, but it's the quickest route possible. Trekking through the land you would have to follow the shore until there's some bridge or other way out, and dangers are even higher. Anomalies, mutants and military patrolls come first to your mind.

[4] You stop and try to don't make sudden moves, then you try to get closer to the alpha male. For some reason it allows you to get closer. You grab it lightly and then wrestle it to the ground!

[3] Other wolves back off seeing that their leader has been dominated. They still keep an eye on you though. You release hold off the alpha male.

[3] They walk back into the darkness.

Fisk Black

Kill the rest of them.

[2] You try to kill another incoming ghoul with the debris you've picked up earlier, but your hold is so strong that it breaks into pieces!

[Driver: 6, Ghouls: 4] The driver shocked that his colonel is dead goes berserk and runs with fists to nearby two ghouls! In a powerful charge, he strikes one of the ghouls in it's head and completely punches it off! The second one claws him in the back while he was still recovering from the charge.

[Fisk: 6, Ghouls: 4] You realize that all the time you've had your spiked brass knuckles in your equipment! You take them on and beat a nearby walking corpse into a bloody lump of gore! Another one sneaks up on you and throws you on the ground!

Ghouls left: 4, next wave incoming in 2 turns

[6] You take out your pistol and fire at the mutant. It swiftly dodges your shot and hisses menacingly. It makes a few steps forward, but you just wait. Suddenly it turns back and a ricocheting bullet strikes right through it's head! It didn't stopped there though, as it flied onward, slightly scratching you in your arm!

You lose 2 HP
