Irene turns out the lights, and tries to spot the truck. If she can spot it, and the truck is on its own, and is close enough, Irene will try to find a grenade, pull the pin, and throw it under the truck.

If she can't spot it, she will go back up against the wall next to the door and wait for someone to come in.

If there is more than one trucks, Irene will surrender, saying she was kidnapped and thrown over here by a psychopath.

If she can spot the truck, but it is too far, Irene will grab a long range rifle and take them out.

If she can spot the truck, and it is close, but she can't find a grenade, Irene will grab an automatic rifle and fight to the death.

Clouds quickly gather upon the Zone, it seems that a really heavy thunderstorm is going.

Lorence and Nix are both safe, sitting on a thick oaken branch. They look at a grim sky full of dark clouds. The air feels so heavy that it's hard to breathe. Lorence tries to blame it all on the ghoul:

- Not all my Fault the dammed Ghoul Jumped on you! We might as well See Whats around while we are up here...

[5] Lorence and Nix decide to have a look around. The tree seems to be towering over all the buildings around and they can see everything. Most of Chernobyl is covered by dense acidic mist, reaching up to rooftops of some buildings. In the distance you can see a few other treetops, rooftops of a few building and section of town still free of the fog.

[1] You want to join up with the three stalkers sent to storm the gate, but they are shot down by sniper before you even get close. Damned bastard - headshotted all of them with one bullet!

[6] Enraged and high on drugs, you still decide to run and storm the front gate. You look nervously for the sniper and finally locate him on the guard's tower. You see a red dot quickly move on the ground and go up your body, up to head. You quickly take one of your throwing knives and throw it with all force, hoping for a miracle. And it happened - the knife flewn high up to the tower. It was so sharp that it sliced sniper's head in half, hit a wooden beam with it's hilt and fallen down to the ground. Your throw was so strong that entire guard's tower started to fall down on the labs!

First trekking through forests, then taking any buses and trains he could, Dustan got to nearest airport and flewn straight to Washington D.C

[4] People were still highly ignorant about the Zone, thinking of it as just a myth and science-fiction lies. Artifact market was non existant, so Dustan hit up straight to scientific research facilities. Scientists have literally made Dustan golden, giving him a huge fortune of 3 500 000 USD straight from government's money for top secret projects. Irene says: Пусть Бог помилует мою душу - and turns off the light in the room, then checks where is the truck.

[6] There are three military trucks and they are in grenade throwing range. There are not many soldiers, it seems that it's a transport of supplies, guarded by only a few men.

[2] Irene searches ammo boxes for grenades or automatic rifles, but she can't find any. There is a long range rifle with a silencer though, so she grabs it.

[6] Then she moves to a door frame and aims the rifle at head of a soldier that just left it - a successful shot and he falls on the ground dead. This alerts drivers thogh, so they turn on their trucks and drive away.

Grab magazines for the sniper, grab magazines for my handgun, grab some rations, and then find a map. See where the closest exit is, and try ripping the map off. Also, find a flashlight. Don't want to be walking in the dark.

((Well, I forgot about Fisk last turn, so I'm going to make his situation better removing acidic fields (it was about time anyway) and giving him roll bonus this turn.))

Suddenly the acidic field around Chernobyl disappears, revealing surgically clean streets and ruined buildings. No bodies, no shrubs or lesser plants, only charred tree stumps are left after smaller trees. This acid must've been really strong, but it's gone now!

[2] The rowboat is too heavy to carry alone.

[2] Miriel tries to help you. You both lift it a little in the air and then drop it to the ground. It's too heavy!

- Haha Knife to meet you! - you shout triumphantly, then make signals with your hands for other mercenaries.

[4] They understand your signals and rally immediately, charging the front gate.

[5] They plant some explosives on heavy metal gate and all of you escape to hiedout, then they blow up the gate. Explosives were planted in a way that made the gate fly towards closed doors of the labs, tearing them down.

[2] Nix closes his eyes and tries to fall asleep, but he feels that something has changed. He opens his eyes and notices that the acidic mist has disappeared!

[2] Scientists amazed by artifacts you gave them, still don't know where to begin their research. Effects of artifacts are still unknown.

[1] When it came to equipment, you decided that only the most basic equipment would be enough. Your intuition would lead you to more useful stuff anyway. You took everything you had in the last escapade.

[5] The driver gathers his strenght and stands up to kick ghouls in their heads.

[1 +2] You look into the side mirror of truck and see that another wave is just about to come. Next you realise that the strange fog has disappeared, showing you a clear way out.

- Get in and drive! - you shout to the driver and he comes to the truck.

[4] The engine starts immediately and you both drive away. Suddenly your hear someone in your communicator:

- *Colonel Vavryenko, report squad's status!*

[2] You look for some magazines for sniper rifle, but you can't find in any of the ammo boxes.

[4] Then you seek out 6 magazines for your handgun.

[5] You decided that it was time to look what's inside rest of the boxes and look for something to pry them open. There was a crowbar lying near one of them, so you take it and open box after box. Military have stashed lots of water and canned rations in them! You must decide how much you'd take with you.

[4] Next, a map would be useful. Searching around, you found a pocket map of the Zone on a nearby shelf. There is also a flashlight with a few batteries, so you take it all.

[3] The closest exit is the door through which reacher entered the building, and from which you shot to military.

After my plane trip, let's see if I can entice some deadbeats to work for me. I'll split the profit and even give them a bit upfront. It benefits me because I know where to find a buyer, and with more people comes more chance of getting out with packs full of loot. Bonus if they choose to stay on with me later!
