Description: Amber stands at an impressive 5'10", with curly golden-brown hair and right-side bangs that stick up and out seemingly on their own. The rest is tied in a loose ponytail and reaches her middle back. Amber's eyes are, somewhat unsurprisingly, a bright shade of amber.
Her choice of attire consists of a formfitting orange suit (that fits very well with her hair) with her shoulders, chest, stomach and legs below the knees being black instead. The outfit includes matching orange gloves, though the sleeves end at her upper arms, and orange shin boots.

Amber came to be as a result of the combined efforts (and budget) of everyone working at the esteemed Gaff Corporation in Megalopolis A. The Corporation had devoted itself for years to replicating synthetic human life - what for has never exactly been disclosed, especially considering they began working years before the Turning Point - in a controlled, repeatable manner. Many experiments based upon at-the-time revolutionary cloning methods resulted almost invariably with the subject's rapid expiration, as predicted. Months and months of testing ensued with little to show for it but dessicated corpses and a dwindling budget.

Until, that is, one ingenious scientist discovered a chemical reaction of carbon, [DATA EXPUNGED - GAFF CORPORATION PROTECTED TRADE SECRET] and [DATA EXPUNGED] that resulted in a form of highly adaptive synthetic flesh. Though externally it appears as ordinary flesh, it is many times stronger and denser without actually increasing weight by any noticeable amount, and it rapidly changes its own makeup to reflect environmental changes; solidifying in response to excessive heat, expanding during extreme cold... Every concievable environmental hazard was tested on varying amounts of the synthflesh, with possibly the most interesting being high amounts of energies - which results in the cells transforming it into a combination of nuclear, electromagnetic, and thermal energy, then simply storing it, up to ridiculous extents. The flesh appears to expend stored energy to keep itself alive (though how this is possible without any form of actual nutrition being provided continues to baffle Gaff Corporation), even drawing thermal energy from the air itself if need be.

Then some jackass decided to insert the DNA of a fertilized egg cell into one of the samples, for shits and giggles maybe, and the sample immediately changed itself into a copy of this egg. This synth egg then grew into Amber, who was surprisingly raised by the corporation acting as one parent and not, say, with horrible chemicals and painful experiments done on her as if she wasn't a person. Gaff Corporation seems to have collectively decided to observe this sample, while working on developing other uses for it that don't involve creating additional human life - just yet, anyway. Amber is now 27 years old and able to harness the massive amounts of energy stored in her body to deadly effect in the form of balls, beams, and blasts of various energies melded together.

Perks:
Energy Repurposing: Amber's cell makeup is designed to store energy she comes into contact with, and can then use the excess. When hit by a magic/energy-based Special attack, she adds half the damage taken to her next Special attack (i.e. 2d6+Special+10). Three turn cooldown.

Flight: Seeing as it's both useful and a thing she can do, Amber does a lot of it. 35% chance to dodge attacks and +3 Agility in combat.

Might of Zircon: You cannot put this girl down without putting her down. Upon reaching 0 HP, Amber retains consciousness, though with all stats halved, and dies at -30 HP instead of -15.

Tough Exterior: Amber's skin is naturally very resistant to injury, never mind her bone structure. +1 Defense.

Unique Biology: Though she looks so, Amber is decidedly not human. Halves all status effect duration (minimum of 1 turn).
Complications:
Flippant Attitude: To put it bluntly, Amber doesn't really give a shit about anything that isn't part of her job. Prevents Amber from making Knowledge checks that don't involve Mysterious Beings (and how to beat them into submission).

Obstinately Tough Exterior: Amber's body is slow to show injury and just as slow to recover from them, somehow regardless of outside assistance. Halves healing effects.

Amethyst Blitz: Amber charges a small ball of purple energy in her hand, then fires it in a beam at the enemy. Does (1d8+Special) damage.

Amber Barrier: A bright barrier of orange energy that Amber places around herself, preventing damage. Lasts up to three turns, but Amber has to keep using the Skill to keep it held up. Does (1d3+Special) damage automatically to physical attackers and is broken if dealt (Specialx3) damage or more from a single attack (with the excess being dealt to Amber normally).

Heavy Finish: Amber flies high, then dives down and drives her knee straight into the enemy's chest. Stuns the enemy for one turn and leaves them open to an immediate Fierce Barrage. Also does ((1d8+Special)/2) damage.

Fierce Barrage: Amber launches a fierce barrage of strikes at the enemy. What else did you expect? Hits three times with her CQWs.

Spinel Burst: Amber releases many bright red spheres of energy over a wide area. Hits every enemy present (up to 3). Does either 3d6, 2d6, or 1d6 (+Special) to each with one, two and three enemies present respectively.

Vanish: Amber dodges an attack, moving so fast it seems as if she teleported. Guarantees the next attack aimed at her misses.

Other: Has been part of the Union for about four years. Actually treated as if she was, in fact, a person by Gaff Corporation and allowed free reign as an ordinary woman her age should, barring missions called by the Union.
