Sub-turn 65.02
Gray the Metalslinger and Glint the True Arcanivore"That went south much more quickly than I anticipated."
Get as many allies as I can onto my back, then fly out of melee range. Overload mesmerizing and get the humans to start attacking each other instead of us. While that's going on, get slightly farther away from the Scar and assess how many humans there are.
Plink a few humans with Metal Barrage as we retreat, hard shots. If any get embedded in the bandits, Engulf and devour them from within, preferably starting with any vital bits, and absorb the essence. Try to ride on Glint's back if I can, but stick near Brown.
For now, there is a dozen of humans on both side. 6/6
Glint : [4]
You get Tirim and Gray on your back and fly out. Overloarding energy into your Mesmerizing, your light now rouses up the aggressiveness of humans that may look at you.
You lose 6MP
1d6 [2]: Only two bandits were looking at you. They fire an arrow at the nearest target, for both another human.
> [2] [3] In their blind rage, they miss their mark. One bolt lodge in the sand, while an other only brushes past its intended target.
> The ongoing confusion takes the attention of 5 bandits on your left, who are focused on their berserk pals.
Gray : [1]
You lock onto the closest human in your range, which is still more than 10 meters away, and fire a hard shot. You are still not accustomed to your new power, and completely miss your mark. Furthermore the recoil makes you fall off Glint !
The shot is isolated somewhere rather far from the ongoing battle.
You lose 4HP
Vagush roll : [5]
Vagush keeps stampeding, opening a straight escape path as he plowed down every fences on the way.
Humans roll : [1, 2, 2, 6, 4, 3] [6, 1, 4, 4, 4, 3] (red for berserk human)
-A first volley of bolt and arrow comes from the left.
Three shots miss, two strike 1d10 [10] Vagush, further pissing him off.
One of the stray shots end up on the whole other side and lands into a human.
-The second volley comes from the right, but it is only made of two shots.
One of them hits [6] Glint, but the archer looks too long at Glint and fall to the mesmerizing.
Glint loses 3HP
One miss and hits a human from the other side.
The two berserk humans enter in a brawl against two fellow bandits. Punches, kicks, blows... They are all in a bad shape, and one of them begins returning to its senses after a punch in the face.
Overall :

> 2 wounded
> 2 fighting berserk ones, also wounded
3 berserk humans

T946 the Security BotShoot a -Paralyzing Bolt- at the holes in the Armour of the scorpion from the legs being taken off
[2] You aim at the Scorpion, but it is moving too erratically for you to properly find a gap.
Scorpion : [6]
The scorpion spinning attack reveals itself really effective, as many scavenger decide to flee from the battle. But after such an exhausting attack, the scorpion comes out weary and exhausted.
Scavengers : [5]
Taking advantage of its exhausted state, the scavengers left all rush on the scorpion ! They make it fall, and tear off parts of its chitin. It's the perfect occasion for a shot ! (automatic success except a 1 next turn)

Durst the Rock SeerDurst approaches the humans, palms out and speaking in their tongue.
"Greetings, wise ones. I am a friend of nature and a friend of humanity.
Who are you?"
[5] You approach in a pacifist manner, speaking in the human dialect fluently, despite some odd choice of vocabulary due to your archaic knowledge of the human speech.
The humans around the camp seem ready to defend themselves, when suddenly an old man bursts out from a tent shouting :
"A TALKING MONSTER ?!"
Before the humans can react, he throws himself heroically in front of you, grabbing your hand and shaking wildly. He is also touching you everywhere, he is incredibly agile for an old man.
"ARE YOU REALLY A MONSTER ? A SENTIENT, INTELLIGENT GENUS OF GEOMONSTER ? YAAAAAAH !
THIS
IS
MY LUCKY DAY !"
He says so raising his hands to the sky, on his knees.
"Glad to meet you. Dr Hertomal De Agavio, monstrologist of renown. Who do I have the honor talking too ?"
Such a lively fellow. You notice the other humans look horrified.

Ulkas the Sorcerous Osyluth of LiesUlkas tapped his chin, thinking for a bit about the situation back at the mountains. Sure, he fled them first moment he could, yet his experienced mind let him easily deduce which course evolution took in the demonic society.
"Are you aware of the recent events of the world? Many monstrous species began to rapidly evolve and demons were among them. As you might know, demon realm has a strict hierarchy of power, and those events brought chaos, strife, infighting, cannibalism and much more heinous acts..."
Ulkas paused, glancing at Astrosa.
"As I came to my senses for the first time, I was immediately captivated by a vast, interesting world that lied beneath the mountains, thus avoiding a very possible death. My companion... Prefers not to talk much about her past, but you have seen her subconscious reaction to your power. Please, excuse her, she was not in full control of herself that time."
He signed heavily, contemplating situation in the world before coming to a few conclusions:
"This whole world enters the Age of Strife. And those without power to hold against its tidal waves, would be scattered on the wind, their souls destroyed and bodies consumed. Thus this quest for power I spoke about before. We must become stronger for various reasons, yet survival is top amongst them."
"All this said, I still haven't heard your name, and now you know much more about us than we - about you. I'd also be grateful if you would describe this place to us, as we've never seen something like that in our travels."
((Whew. Let the s wordplay begin! Priestess, en garde!))
She listens to you without ever breaking eye contact with her fiery eyes.
"Demons from the Mountains."
She is speaking with a grand tone.
Then, she opens her arm wide, and the sleeves slide inward, first showing her hands.
Fine and elegant hands whose dexterity is probably unmatched.
Then showing her "arms". Normal human arms, except for the scarlet feathers covering her skin.
Finally, she removes the large and bulky robe she is wearing, revealing another more light tunic under it.
But that's not only it. Two huge scarlet-red wings of majestic span expand in her back.
"I am known as Fenia. The Crimson Priestess of the Hills."
Her whole body except for her head, neck, hand, forearms and foot are covered in feathers. She is still wearing an elegant white and red tunic, but her wings dwarf it in elegance.
She is everything but a human.
"I am a guardian of this place, protecting the humans living West and East from the dangerous spirits of the Hills. But spirits have been restless since recent times, with some of them growing stronger and seeking destruction and power."
"I know nothing of the current happenings of the world, being too busy quelling the rage of the spirits. What do you mean when you speak of massive changes going in the world ?"

Snehk the Unseen- Goodbye Darakion! I'm sure we'll meet again in the future!
Look for battlefields, find something to devour on the way.
[2] You head for the battlefield, but find nothing along the way. The forest atmosphere seems more wary than usual.
HP: 20/20
MP: 14/14
Caedan the Bloody Impaler((Looks like I don't have to create a new character (who is a blind samurai dullahan) just yet.))
Regroup with the former human whose name I really should finally ask for. Take utmost care to remain unseen by the Armor. Once we get a fair distance away from the ruined village, take some time to rest.
[3] Having noted where the humans went, you regroup with him at the outskirt of the town.
There is too much smoke, you don't know where the Armor is. But it shouldn't be able to move as fast as you, so you relax.
The young man is tending at the unconscious woman.
HP: 5/21
MP: 0/25
Stormslayer the Aradian Mirage Beetle Mystic "You misunderstand my reasoning. We are not going for stealth. The humans use their second skins for protection, and even if it does not fit well, it can protect us too. We will use their strange devices against them, along with our own powers. Do you understand now?"
Simply put, Stormslayer tries to make them wear armor to protect themselves better, not to disguise them. He would also begin thinking of a way to make use of his new puppet.
[4] Arbos appears enlightened :
"Ooooh, I misunderstood, you really are a great planner ! Let's speak of your plan to the military chief."
As for your puppet, using it for stealth is a no-go. You realize quickly it wouldn't work considering its mental state.
Of course you could wait for the mindwipe to wear off and retry again, but it would be a loss of time.
You think. Mmh. Maybe you could spring an ambush with him as a bait ? Or use it as a psychological weapon.
Anyway, Arbos brings you to the military chief. Ako, a larger than usual sylvarian. He seems more like a small golem than a humanoid.
"A pleasure to meet your Stormslayer. Arbos here told me you have some idea to help in the war effort ?"

ZoomochScoomtarto the Four-Eyed BeholderUp Up and outta here I go!
You get up quickly, without wait ! Cerbelions can't fly, so even if he saw you, there is no way he would follow you.
You look at the surroundings. It is still hot, but you don't see lava anywhere. The cavern seems more like made of solid molten rock.
Event : [2]
You hear loud and terrible howling. You can't tell from where it comes, but it doesn't reassure you. It seems really far though, and it is not a battle order.

Dahak the Fear LordNNNNGGHHH
I NEED TO FIND A WAY TO GET RID OF THIS CORRUPTION BUSINESS
Dahak would raise an eyebrow if he had one. What does Delinde mean "it should distract it enough for me to land a strong blow"? What the hell does she think you just did? You just tore a chunk out of the damn thing with a huge claw for pantokrator's sake! Who does that jailbait think she is?
But then she offers him the finishing blow. Eh, thats ok I guess, but how exactly does one finish off a ghost? You're not exactly sure if you can just step on its head or something.
You would use your aura again, but you decide its too strong of an attack to just use it carelessly like that. You resolve to dust off your holy dagger, since you haven't used it in a while.
During this moment, Dahak's mind flashes with a strange alien vision.
NO
Alright, time to smoochshank a ghost
Dahak draws his dagger from his makeshift scabbard. Its a bit awkward holding it, now that his hands are much larger. What was once normal sized dagger now looks more like a fruit knife from his perspective.
Stab the ghost to...Death? Life? Undeath?
[2] You order your Aura to dismiss, but the red clawing hand doesn't listen to your order.
Instead it attacks the defenseless spiritual creature, ripping everything apart and ravenously feeding on it.
You recover 1HP
You recover 4MP
Corruptor Core Expansion +1
Finally sated, the Aura dismisses. You stand there baffled with your holy dagger.
You gain 3 essence 1d4 [3] ((if score below 2 or 1, it will increase instead))
Corruptor Core Expansion -3
HP: 21/21
MP: 25/25
