Please do not take too long, we do have an entire island to evacuate. When you are ready let's get loaded onto the shuttle and I will escort you to the portal. After we are there, step through the portal and the other associates of mine will help you from there. Thank you for your cooperation!"

So, Anthony does his little thing, tells people to get ready to go and the very first person he says to this gives him a rather rude reply. Something to the effect of "What the fuck are you talking about, who the fuck are you, and what the fuck is going on?"
