Omuz comforts Pearl, "Don't worry, they're obviously just to scared to face you. We'll get you some opponents eventually!"

Ask Pearl to help with the hunting instead, maybe she'll have more luck on the surface?

Major Action: Stabilize the rainward again. Damn unauthorized mages thinking they can just tinker with it as they please. Re-align the magic flows to harmonize the arcane metaconstruct [/magicbabble]
Major Action: Try to increase the scope of the rainward, having it cover a larger region, perhaps by flattening out the rainball a bit into a rainoval thing if that'd work better than just making the entire thing bigger.

Minor Action: Try to get some channelers to help me with enlarging the rainward.
Minor Action: Try to grab one of the free raincloaks for myself, having spied on the elf to see if it didn't have any more alcohol and discovering the cloaks instead.
Oi, we need those channelers for our mobile crab city!

We should have a mage duel to decide who the channelers will help! Pearl will be my champion.

You can have them.

It's not that I fear Pearl, it's that picking up the Stone affinity to rip her to shreds will take too many actions to be done alongside the other things that I'm doing. Plus, I don't your character going berserk over the destruction of Pearl.

"Mongo, can you give me the schematics for that anti-rain cloak?"

Major Action: Once the crab has been hollowed out and reprogrammed, channel all of my anti-rain essences into the crab to make a similar (but hopefully superior and scalable) enchantment to that of Mongo's cloak. Get channeler help for this if I can.
"No! There are no schematics for such creations, only gentle precision and a careful hand at fine-tuning each individual organism.

I am, however, willing to personally help, in the name of defeating this rain."

Major Action: Help him out, with a giant plant anti-water cover.
Major Action: Patch people up after their suicidal pursuits. Especially that happy-sphere mage.

Minor Action: Consider the various herbs collected, and see if I am able to mutate any into being a staple farmable food product

"Sjig-Nak, can you reprogram the crab to be docile, and possibly herbivorous?"

Sorry, I'm somewhat loosing track of what's happening to other people (I feel sorry for IronyOwl). Which crab do you mean? The big dead one the hunters took down a few weeks ago? Or has someone captured some other crab?

Perhaps on that note:
"IT'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" a tiny voice rings out. Several... well, they're bug-fairies; very insectile, but still humanoid for the most part. Actually they seem tauric, but whatever.

The point is, a bunch of tiny fairy-things begin panicking as you snakipede moves in to eat them. One bursts out from a particular building carrying a huge sword over its shoulders; huge by its standards, as far as you can tell it's literally an ornate human-sized dagger.

It stares down your snakipede as the beastie charges right for it.

This scene seems unfinished Irony?

"See, Babbles, I was correct. I'm always correct, of course, but now you saw firsthand how correct I was. People enjoyed your poetry and now you can continue to make more of it as long as it doesn't conflict with the uses I have for you. In fact, your high spirits might help you find your calling as a wizard, and as long as you stick with me as your master, that is a good thing." the slightly-damaged imp told the lizard-channeler-thing while petting a fleshmetal-ball-golem-thing on his lap.

He was trying to get Ano's spirits up after the small golem's most recent failure to prove itself a master of the banjo. Malacent had no doubt it'd get better eventually and maybe even learn other useful skills aside from playing the banjo. "Do you have any noteworthy belongings or aspirations?" he continued, trying to plan how to better manipulate the strange and supposedly female creature.

Minor Action: Talk to Bebbles.
Major Action: Keep working on fixing the rainward. If Channeling assistance is necessary, employ Babbles.
Major Action: Continue taking lessons from Blacktongue.
Ano's Action: Meditate on banjo techniques to ascend to the next level of banjoness.

Sjig-Nak stares at the 'kobold' for a few moments after their question. Then moved over to the corpse of the crab creature and looked at it. After a few further moments he poked the rotting carcass with a stick. "There we go! docile achieved! Herbivorous will be harder! Although this one can promise that without further meddling that it will at least not consume meat! You are welcome!"

Miya takes a step towards blacktongue shaking now seems like the best time blacktongue is in a good mood it seems.
Blacktongue....please don't kill me for this!
place Ward on self and step forward and kiss blacktongue.
[11, Good] You throw a quick ward on yourself to defend against the inevitable backlash, then move in.

...

She just kind of eyes you curiously for a moment, before having a gentle "ohhhhhh" moment and smiling.

She pats you on the head. "Yes, good girl. I'm sure if you make yourself useful you'll prove yourself worthy of my affections."

Then she goes back to snuggling in her stolen cloak and looking over various papers.

Minor Action: Befriend and learn more about the culture of the fairies, if Sjig-Nak brings any back. Otherwise, read.
Minor Action: Read some Biomancy books. Stop Miya from killing herself (aren't Blacktongue and Miya both female?)
That mutant rat doesn't seem to have any fairies yet.

You get a sudden chill and glance around for Miya, but she's nowhere to be seen. Probably off somewhere other than where you are, wherever that is.

She will be missed.

Minor action: Go annoy those hunters until they get something good for me. It'll happen someday.
Minor action: Get samples from those parasites everyone has. Perfect for symbiotes!
Minor action: Get some black lightening from Blacktounge.
Minor action: Try and biomance vines into some sort of living net. Nothing fancy, it just needs to hold things and walk a bit.[/b]
[11, Good] You "Pleeeeeeeeeeeease?" them until they get fed up and show you where they're keeping the findings. Most of it is smaller, relatively herbivorous game, but you do find a huge flatworm of some kind. It's absolutely riddled with arrows but seems to have been ultimately punched to death by something large.

[7, Poor] Most of them are microscopic and cleaned out by the healing team, so it's hard to find proper samples. You get some skin samples of people who said they felt itchy or sore lately there, maybe there'll be something there?

[10, Poor] She gives you a brief zap. It occurs to you that you have no way to collect or store black lightning, other than pumping it directly into your Progenitors.

[19, Bonus] You get some vines to hold in a net formation. Getting them to walk is another matter.

Minor Action: Get some channelers to help me with enlarging the rainward.
Minor Action: Grab one of the free raincloaks for myself, having spied on the "elf" to see if it didn't have any more alcohol and discovering the cloaks instead.
Minor Action: Recruit my own personal channeler lackeyapprentice, so that I don't need to call up the common pool all the time to greaterfy my magic, it seems to be the done thing.
Minor Action: Examine self for parasites. If any are found roll around in a fire, naked except for my fire resistance amulet, hopefully killing the parasites (I see no way this could go wrong) get some of the healers to remove them.
[15, Good] Everyone is happy to see the rainward back in action, malformed atrocity though it may be.

[17, Bonus] MIIIIIIIIIIIINE!

[16, Good] You pick out an orc huddled under your ward after helping to dry it out and inform him that he's your personal property now. He scowls but doesn't particularly object.

[1, FAIL!] They're everywhere, THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!

The healers insist that you're FINE but you can FEEL them WRIGGLING.

Miner: Persuade the Miners to help me.
Major: Dig at my Hole in the wall.
((Is the miner action supposed to be a major or minor action?))

Minor Action: Consider the various herbs collected, and see if I am able to mutate any into being a staple farmable food product[/b]
[13, Good] Not of particular quality, but there's enough edible material in some of them that you could form them into decent edible matter producers.

"IT'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" a tiny voice rings out. Several... well, they're bug-fairies; very insectile, but still humanoid for the most part. Actually they seem tauric, but whatever.

((You have time to react if you'd like, or you can just watch what happens. I wasn't sure enough of how you'd act to just write the whole thing out in one go.))

Minor Action: Talk to Bebbles.
"Great! And yes, I have my optimism! That's, uh, that's the clever way I heard to say no I'm poor. But I do aspire to greatness! Just... not sure what kind of greatness!"

Ano gives a sad humming chord, but seems a little better now.

((You have time to react if you'd like, or you can just watch what happens. I wasn't sure enough of how you'd act to just write the whole thing out in one go.))

((Ah, alright, that makes sense.))

"Stop!" With a sharp command Sjig reigns in the rampaging beast! With a quick action he pulls out his packed lunch (a raw hunk of meat) and practically shoved it into Naks maw before he can start to think about the taste of the small creatures. With that Sjig-Nak took a few steps closer to the diminutive creatures, Sjig peering at them with curiosity "Hello small ones! I am the great Sjig! Master of flesh! Sorcerer of black lighting! Luck in the Flames! Veiwer of the Dwindling Ice! Slaves of the Vat! The Lord of the Stitch! Seventh Heir to the Hell Pits of Karkaden! I greet and  address and call to you! It would not be good and possibly be quite bad for you to fight this creature that I have newly and only most recently broken to my will and indeed would not wish to loose it to your blades so soon! I must and am impelled by curiosity to ask who you are as this is possibly and almost certainly the first time I have found evidence of others then me and my people in this area that are of intelligent mind as you must certainly be by your architecture and your organized defense!"

((Edit: Also this
That mutant rat doesn't seem to have any fairies yet.
Is highly racist. Sjig-Nak, although yes, is highly mutated, he really prefers to be called a "chimera" or "an abomination to the eyes of both (rat)man and god.... Although if you think about it, Nak is clearly some type of mutant, and he's like 80-90% of the creature... Hum...))
