Tortoise's results are back from the lab, the recurrent lump on her neck was a sarcoma, not a cyst as we hoped.

So she's slowly growing and regrowing a tumour on the outside of her neck. In itself this isn't a huge problem, but it does mean she might be at risk of developing tumours elsewhere, and those could be a problem. She's quite young as well, 8 and a bit years old with a regular lifespan of 50-100 or so years, and I have no idea what this will mean for her life expectancy.

Fours years for it regrow from the last removal, which is probably a good sign, but still not the best news to end the year on.

Sudden painful toothache in my mostly-destroyed top-right molar. I can feel it pulsing with every heartbeat as well. This tooth hasn't hurt in... over a year, I think? I've tried both ambesol(which expired over two years ago) and ground cloves, neither helped.

I've been meaning to see a dentist about it, but I've had other medical issues take priority, especially since it hasn't been hurting until now.

Probably an infection, frequent antiseptic mouth wash rinsing might giv some relief, until you can see the dentist. (Though the mouth wash label will probably advise against it, if you're the sort to care about that.)

Mouthwash seems to have worked.

Still, go see the dentist. Bad dental health causes many horrible afflictions, like heart attacks and artery clogging. Bad dental health should not be prioritized over by other medical issues unless those make you bleed out in few hours.

Alternately do the Castaway thing and knock out your infected tooth with an ice skate and a rock.

Work travel is annoying. At least it's only four nights.

I'm really stressed out from loneliness. I'm cooped up in my apartment here, surrounded by snow. I have my new remote job, but I'd really like someone to talk to. What's worse is that it seems like all my online friends are suddenly less active than usual. It even seems to have slowed down here at Bay12 a little bit.

I also had awful sleep last night. I forgot about my acid reflux and overate before sleeping, which caused me to scramble out of bed in the dead of night to puke on my floor and almost suffocate from all the shit in my throat. It's not enough that I'm lonely and anxious, but when I try to self-medicate myself to feel better, my body flips the fuck out and punishes me for that too.

Best thing I can recommend, other than prodding your online friends for time and fun, is to go walk. Not for exercise but just to have a change of scenery. When I spend like 3 days at home alone, even though I'm not especially prone to loneliness, I feel it. The stale environment and views and routines. When you're stultifying, changing even a few small things up can help.

Read ''stultifying'' as ''sluttifying'' and did a double take.

Father attempted to change the heater in my trailer out, and it caught fire. and I think i know why; the propane tube where it connects to the regulator on those models leaks. Ive been very carefully making sure it sits at an angle where that doesnt happen for three years, and he says he doesn't remember me mentioning it.

Nothing but the heater was damaged thankfully, and my cat's unharmed too. Made a huge fucking mess and now I don't have any clean clothes to wear right now either.

Got some computer stuff going on and need thermal paste and luckily I've got some, except I can't find it. I found the envelope it is supposed to be in but it's not there, no idea what could have happened to if so I guess I have to add that to the list of crap I've got to buy.

Which means my computer is going to be down even longer sense I have to wait for that to arrive now.
