I actually forgot about that. I might not want to target everyone with a chat, then.  :P

... hector, are you trying to downplay a power that could have ATTEMPTED TO KILL EVERYBODY? Sure, 1 in 5 of those attacks would have failed. That still leaves the vast majority of the players.
I have some protection against such... but I imagine that a significant number of the players wouldn't.
Query: more players are town than scum.
Opening the nuke box would have been worse for town than scum.
Why are you defending the guy that was willing to risk nuking everybody... for post manipulation powers?

I've checked, and it's fine for scum to PM me their list, it's only discouraged and an infraction.  :P

I'm not defending it. Just wondering why everyone thinks it means TDS is scum. We don't even know if he has/had a box.

Also it would be a bit of a shitty game if flabort didn't have something in mind should someone happen to open that particular box on D1.

Assuming he has one...
If he was town, why would he open his box?
If he was scum...
Actually, if he was an SK, he would be a lot more motivated to open his box. Either way, good things for mr. SK.

Town actually can have several reasons to lie in this begongled setup because of the powers that they have and don't want anybody else to know. Otherwise, there would be nothing to stop everybody from mass claiming all their roles right here and right now. Also, abilities probably has little to no affect on role if FHPBYOR1 is anything to go by.

Refusing to give information (thusly, omission) is not a lie. Either way, TDS has not been acting like a townie. He lied, was dodgy with info and, more importantly, used an ability that had the potential to kill everyone in DAY ONE. Even if you dismiss the first two, the third is not something town does outside the toughest LYLOs (example: last day of BYOS).

For him, it was only a one in three chance of mass murder.
Of course, it's still not excusable, but it's not as risky as what you did...

DA using the box was also not town behaviour.

He was town, but that does not make risking the activation of a nuke any less anti-town.

Well of course a player having a nuke is dangerous!

And if the scum happen to have revives?

... yeah... well, on the other hand, it could kill all the scum if someone has revives.
Keep in mind that the multikill can also kill whomever has these theoretical revives. If TolyK is town, or careful scum, he won't use it.
