Iris realized her heroic charge had left behind a mass of squabbling allies.

It went further to her personal opinion they'd probably make a lousy bunch of Gods. She could already imagine Sacha passively aggressively tossing hurricanes at the lands of Yildas worshipers, and Yilda retorting with exploding volcanoes, only for Damon to calm everyone down with an apocalyptic age of ice. Meanwhile Alain would probably spend eternity cavorting on the bottom of the ocean with a race of peaceful dolphin people she had created or something.

Iris coughed.

"...Is anyone else coming on stage to help this performance? I can handle most of crowd myself, but the boors with the swords are a bit of a problem for me...we could use someone else to entertain them." She said, in her usual evenhanded manner, with little emotional inflection.

She noticed all who was needed was Damon to act!

Alain nails the scholar with a couple of thrown knives.

Luck is a fickle thing; at the last moment, the Ketarite twists aside, and the dark magic splashes harmlessly upon the greenstone tiles.

Code: (Yilda vs Ariston) [Select]

Crit: 12-7=5
Roll: 79
Dam: 13-14=0
Clang!

Yilda's blade bounces of Ariston's sturdy plate but the impact is solid enough to wake him.
Ariston wakes up!

Sacha moves up to snipe at Yilda and also incidentally heal Ariston.

His wounds are mended.

Rosalia bravely moves up to take cover behind the healers.

Firstly, the Soother attempts to put Alain to sleep.

The excitable librarian becomes the exhausted librarian as she drops off to sleep where she stands.

She isn't sleeping for long, however. The scholar seeks to redress her previous injuries and hurls a swarm of darting black embers at the lass.

Scholar regains 7 HP!
Alain wakes up!

The tiny black motes bury into her flesh painfully, and the scholar seems rejuvenated for the damage she did.

The woundless Ketarite moves forward to capitalise on the oppotunity.

The steel needle slides cleanly through her chest and she drops.

The Lightning Mage decides to turn Damon into a storm rod.

"Captain!" Sacha cried out seeing Damon take a bolt of lightning to the face. Glancing around she tried to see a decent location to get to his side to work her magic. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no good location for the moment that didn't place her in a dangerous position.
