Dark Souls Emblem

The fate of all men is forged in Truskhang.

These words have been heavy in the minds of the seven of you as you travelled towards the jagged mountains. For much of your life, they'd loomed like giant fangs in the horizon, barring men from the land of the True Kings. As you head up, the land becomes bare and almost lifeless, like the ground itself had died...

Nestled in the valley is an ancient fort, or so you have been told, with a tunnel through the mountains to the land within. Fort Golsky, named in honour of the Furnace-Keeper, is a unimpressive affair as you step through the shattered gates. Crumbling stonework and mummified corpses, the tiles slowly sinking into the dirt.

Beyond a wall, built to disrupt charges, you hear the sound of shuffling feet. It seems the guards have not abandoned their posts...

Damon places his helmet where it belongs.

"Let us dispose of this rabble!"

H, 10; attack Archer C

"Right behind you!" Rosalia says, as she gets into position behind Damon.

H-11, shoot the Archer.

Rounding the corner, four hollows lurch towards you. One clutches a decaying crossbow; two grasp fragmenting spears; the final, far hollow holds a rusted blade and a small clay jar. All are withered and shriveled, like a corpse mummified by the sun. It's hard to believe they can still move.

Typhus searches the corpse, but finds nothing but a few useless coins. He moves on.

Pythias moves up and hurls an axe at a spear hollow!

The axe easily thuds into the flesh no longer protected by armour, and the hollow sways and gurgles.

Damon and Rosalia move up to attack the crossbow-wielding hollow.

Alain looked on as the others ran in towards the foes--she was a shy one, emboldened only by the courage of the others with her. Taking a second to wait, she moved alongside and decided to do what she could do best: Scouting. That was until she realized her general-standard lockpicks did not work on doors of iron.

"I can't get these locks open! I'll pick it."

STAB DOOR N11 (and move to M11 while I'm at it, in reverse order)

The thief moves up, and the then its the hollow's turn to move. They break into stumbling charges.

The Hollow attacked by Ariston returns the favour.

Alain switched two of her knives and threw them at the spearman who poked her possibly-favorite historical general!

"Are you alright?" This is very different. I've only read about the two of these people in books and I get to live alongside them. That's a pretty bad wound...

Taking a few tentative steps forward to stay out of reach of the spear Sacha channeled magic through her staff to heal the large puncture the strangely alluring archer had sustained.


"Such a lovely woman shouldn't have to deal in such pain. Allow me to fix everything."

Move to H12. Heal Rosalie 15 [10+Mag] with my Heal staff.
