I decided I should contribute something as well:

The thing is worth 151,800 turtles. It's completely useless, since it's made of rose gold AND it lacks a matching left gauntlet. I can't complain, though, since I now have two legendary armorers in this fort.

Wow, these are some incredible sketches.

Have you got a collection of them all? the older initial posts seem to not have images in them.

I just get to read people "ooh'ing and ahhh'ing"

I want to ooh and ahh as well.  ;D

Click the website of Moogie and check the gallery. The Dwarf Fortress one holds the older ones, but doesn't seem to have been updated with the latest additions. Still, can't have you missing out on that shiny dwarven hip-flask, it's great!

(Hope you don't mind Moogie?)

These are just awesome!  :D

I can see a few things we are imagining differently but that is only to be expected and the art and mood is awesome!
And I'd say you're in a fey mood rather than possessed.

Hmm, is I could gather enough courage to register at some image hosing site and learning how to use it I might make a little something myself... maybe that rose gold gauntlet...
Any recommendations?

I reccoment www.photobucket.com for your image-hosting needs, Armok.

And, if you're in the (fey) mood, I just got a doozy for someone to try:

Etathkalur, "Dissolvedthrone", a Basalt Armor Stand

This is a Basalt Armor Stand. All Craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is encrusted with Alunite and encircled with bands of Basalt. This object is adorned with hanging rings of Basalt and menaces with spiks of goblin bone. On the item is an image of a Basalt armor stand in Giant Cave Spider Silk.

30,000 Dwarfbucks.

Man, putting any armor on that stand that ain't Legendary/Artifact in it's own right would be a huge, huge disservice, wouldn't it?

Speaking of a recursive artefact, here's one.

Ejaskastrol Dolilsorus, "Flashruled the Waning Author"
This is a white chalcedony floodgate. All craftsmanship is of the highest quality. It is encircled with bands of white chalcedony. This object is adorned with hanging rings of copper. On the item is an image of a white chalcedony floodgate in white chalcedony.

This is my first artefact ever, even though I've been playing a while. Until recently I had culled my population limit down to 7-10 dwarves.

It is going to be the centerpiece in my new dining room, it's worth 9600.

I gotta say, I love this thread and I appriciate all the artists that have contributed so far. ;D

So, basically a white square on white. I'm telling you, dwarfs are so abstract. I love it.

Don't mind at all, Merlon. I'll get round to updating that sometime today (probably). Thanks for the reminder. ;)
