Funnily enough I believe I've tryed to gm two games I think one never started due to important material never being obtained and the other was due to not enough players plus disintereste.

The important thing is then, to plan out the interesting plot in advance while choosing a topic that would be interesting enough to keep player attention.

I mean, I'd like to run a game like that, I can just never get ideas, or the RPing just gets put aside. I'd be willing to co-GM with someone, if they have a bit of spare time, and some actually good ideas for a functional RP with plot.

I suppose GMing does take a lot of dedication (for the non-minimalistic ones, at any rate) and effort to maintain, as well as experience in the field.
EDIT: Is there a 'tips for novice GM's' thread?

Takes time. Good things do, mostly. It's a good idea to make time for writing plotlines, spend time on it, and then make a nice looking OP to make people take it seriously.

In that case, you can go try Writer's Block.

As for general GM'ing advice, Corsair says that the best way to improve is to just throw yourself off the deep end, run something complex, crash, burn, and get better from it. Sort of like a phoenix, except with violent train crashes instead of fire.

Eh I'm slowly fixing the problem my writing isn't as bad as when I started but disgraphia is annoying as hell I'd say it mainly causes trouble online with spelling and punctuation and stuff but when I have to write by hand its awfull I can't read it sometimes.

Trespassers is another one which seems to be working well. The only issue right now is that I'm trying to move plot on while real life just piles stuff on me. .-.
Doesn't only having one GM able to work on a plot sort of defeat the point of having two GMs though? :P

Not necessarily. The plot GM runs the plot, the other two GMs just help out or smack things down if necessary. You have three heads instead of one (or, in my plot's case, two heads instead of one).

Come to think of it, your plot isn't going particularly slowly either, the players are just taking a while to decide on administrative tasks. And considering that a game I'm co-GM'ing takes half a month to get everyone's turns, it isn't too slow either.

Okay, I'm set on this idea of a Township-filled-with-mysteries&monsters idea. Would anyone actually be willing to help me run it in some way? I'm gonna start it up either way, it'd just be great to get some extra help.
