Those aboard the Midnight Sun receive a communication; "The loading of your ship has been successively completed. Please depart within the next fifteen minutes, or if you wish to stay longer, pay the visitation fee of 320 Credits."

As quickly as his curiosity had appeared, it disappeared even faster. Plus I had a much better I idea. Look through the markets for an arcade!

Code: [Select]
Luck Roll
1d20 = 7

You head back to the Market Hall in sought of an Arcadium, to gamble your credits with Lady Luck for a return. However, you come by empty handed.

((These rolls really stink lately. I want to see some crazy Critical Hit shit.))

Rob returns to the ship unhappily and prepares for launch. While he waits for the others to return he goes to his room and Equips the silver necklace.

I'm not out of it yet. I can get a general idea of the direction she might be heading, and try to beat her to it. Worst case, I'll briefly get lost, but that is not a big issue.

Code: [Select]
Dexterity Roll
1d20 + 2 = 22
Fuck Yeah

You right yourself with a spin and topple, then bounce back and pass the athletic guards with an unexpected haste and dexterity. You nimbly duck and dodge through the crowd, as if you can see the gaps before they form, and soon find yourself at a narrower portion of the crowd - closer to the runaway girl.

Code: [Select]
Dexterity Roll
1d20 + 2 = 18

Code: [Select]
Perception Roll
1d20 + 1 = 16

Code: [Select]
Strength Roll
1d20 + 1 = 2

You spot your chance and leap after her - crashing down on the floor and grabbing her by the ankle. Her loose foot kicks out and her body twists to escape; you see the foot coming and pass on a possible bloody nose, but she slips loose as your strength fails you.

Luckily however by now, the chasers catch up with the chasee and secure her to the floor. You right yourself and dust yourself down.

"Right, now that that is over with... What exactly happened?" He would inquire to the guards.

The security forces stand, dragging the girl up with her hands bound behind her back. "Thank you for your help, citizen, but this is official SilverCorp business and none of your concern." The girl ferociously fights against their grip, struggling and biting. She can't be older than fifteen. "What bay are you docked in?" the masked security-man asks, paying her no heed. The girl's bites meet armoured forearms.

Saxson looked at the engineer's kit disdainfully and figured he should pick up some real engineering supplies.

Using personal funds, buy some super glue, zip ties, rubber bands, bungee cords, and bubblegum.

(Just to get this out of the way while I'm thinking about it). Rob launches as soon as he gets the all clear and everyone is accounted for.

"Hey!" The securityman grabs you forcibly by the upper arm, causing you to falter. He stares at you intently for a moment. "I'll make sure to have credits transferred to your ship. SilverCorp appreciates the goodwill of citizens.

You nod and return to the ship.

Dante skips out to go try to recover our missing crew
(Scrolled back as far back as page 12 to find out where Kevak was. Found him still contemplating the possible implications of that Critical Failure roll).

Chapter I: Part II
Just A Cargo Run

Enter Atmospheric Music
Dante walks down the boardway, cups hands to his face and lights a cigarette. He takes a long draw.
The end glows a hot red, illuminating his blackened face under his Fedora for a moment before
it crystallises into grey ash, drifting with the slight gust caused by the vents overhead.

"Time to round up the crew," he considers, breathing out a steady stream of smoke. Saxson suddenly enters through the
bay doors, cradling a pile of junk, his eyes sweeping nervously around the room. As he passes by Dante,
he slows and his nervous little eyes narrow suspiciously, his lips thinning under that bushy beard. "Mine!" he
shouts, before disappearing aboard.
"Strange, that one. Just one left, then." Dante finishes the cigarette, flicking it over his shoulder through the silvery
forcefield - the cigarette sent into an eternal spin through space - leaving short, wobbling waves of opacity.
Dustan then makes entrance, his face thoughtful and fixated cloudily in front of him. The pair exchange a short
glance and nod, before also boarding after Saxson, the boardway lifting behind them with a firm clunking and
whirring noise as thick bolts secure the gateway.

The Midnight Sun's engine hum ascendingly, before it lifts off the ground with a slight groan from the heavy, thick
legs that make a slow retreat into their respective bays underneath. The Corvette reversed gently into space as
Yaris-Lo bids farewell and authorises exit.
Rob gives the controls a push and pull, reversing and turning smoothly, before moving forward and reversing
thrusters, the ship turning 180-degrees in drift with a slight deviation in an otherwise perfectly direct and fluid movement.

With a clear path ahead, Saxson leaves Yaris-Lo to a safe distance before kicking the FTL drive into action.

With the dizzying rush of lights and possible folding of space passed once again, the crew find themselves looking
upon Coruscant Sanctuary. Scientists still weren't exactly sure how FTL travel works, except that it does.

The ship takes a deep swing into and around the planet. A patrolling office fighter pulls up parallel to the ship,
eighty meters starboard. "Mise de Feu, this is Liberty Contraband Control hailing, welcome to Sanctuary.
I'm just going to take a sweep of your ship for contraband, this will just take a moment. Do you wish to declare
any Contraband before I do?"

((Correct me if I'm got anything wrong with the characters here, I'll adjust as necessary)).

((This post was hilarious for about a second before the edit came.))
Saxson holds on to the trash he acquired tightly.  "Liberty Contraband Control, requesting you define 'contraband.'

"Nothing that I can think of, at least, but the last time I dealt with an i/e control crowd, they confiscated my favorite sidearm. Liberty hasn't gone nanny-fascist lately, right? "

"Also, please remind me to give our crew some classes about border crossings, regardless," Dante requests of no one in particular.
