As the humans walk, they eventually come across another person - someone in a cloak and a mask, sleeping against the wall of the cave. A small box from a place called "Vilight's" lies next to them.

"...zzz..."

Kill or be killed. Kill or be killed. Kill or be killed. Kill or be killed... The dreaded echoes of fear resonate within Sophia's mind as she approaches an oddly-decorated individual next to a box. She has second thoughts over approaching the creature; as she is scared she and her group would have to deal with a persistent foe, albeit Laykos was not a foe at all and was only concerned for their well-being.

She slows down considerably, as every step she takes becomes heavier with the weight of fear.

"...I don't feel like asking for directions. Should we wake up this person anyway...?", she asks to her group.

Lazarus looks at the person and after a bit of thought, shrugs and goes to look in the box, a hand clutching something in his coat as he does so.

[SOLDIER First]

The box looks like a sytrofoam takeout box, with a half-eaten hamburger and some French fries in it. They're still warm.

"....."

Lazarus looks back to the others before grabbing a handful of fries and passing them out. They would need the strength they supply for the road ahead.

As he does so, the person speaks, their mouth half-obscured by the mask.

"h e y ."

"those aren't yours."

The figure stands, revealing himself as twice Alvin's height.

Lazarus looks between the box and the other two kids. He looks back to the masked man and tilts his head.

[SOLDIER First]

"hold on. you're human, aren't you?"

Lazarus stares at him a second in silence. Eventually he slowly shakes his head.

[SOLDIER First]

"really."

[kj1225]

Lazarus nods and pulls out his library card. He points to a bit near the top. Ah, obviously, he's a Lazarus. Must have something to do with lazars.
