Suddenly, a voice sprang from the other side of the corridor.
"Hey, Hedron! I'm heeeereee..."
In front of them stood a small yeti-like creature, around the same size they are. His voice was small, much like a child's, and it trailed off as he saw the three children.


"A-Are those humans?"

[Nunzillor]

"N-not at all!  I'm an Alver and he's a Lazarus.  Why would you even say something like that?  Um... what's your name?"

[SOLDIER First]

"gell, someone tried to kill these poor monsters. more than once."

He gives Gell a wink... or just blinks. Hard to tell.

[Nunzillor]

Alvin was starting to get the feeling he might've said too much.  As he got more nervous, he spoke more and more quickly and more just slipped out.  "Y-yup, it was awful!  There was this big yellow flower named Flowey and he pretended to be nice and give us friend puffs but they were actually bad and hurt a lot and then his face got all scary and, and then fox mom hurt us and... umm... please don't kill us!"

[SOLDIER First]

"why would we kill any of you poor monsters?"

"and who's 'fox mom'?"

Lazarus quietly smacks Alvin upside the head.

[Nunzillor]

Alvin takes the smack in silence.  He figured he probably deserved it.  "Umm...  She's... Someone that helped us, but umm... she's not important so don't worry about her.  Yeah.  And I don't know, I guess a lot of monsters we've met recently are just really violent?  You don't seem violent though, so that's good.  Do you, uh, know if there's any towns or things around here?"

"Oh no! Was it a human that hurt you three?"

[SOLDIER First]

"it probably was, gell. humans are mean and they kill anything in their way. it's a good thing you escaped."

"the closest town is cavefall. we can take you there if you want."

"Absolutely, those humans are just really... something.  Something bad, I mean.  I wish they'd all... stop the humany things they do.  They're definitely the ones that hurt us.  And I mean that one hundred percent.

It would be nice if you could take us to Cavefall.  I hope there aren't any humans there."

"sure thing. hold on tight."



Hedron's eye briefly changes to a strange, flashing dot, and then everything around them turned completely purple, and then they were in a strange building full of monsters.

[Nunzillor]

Alvin stood stock still, on his face a rictus of fear.  So many monsters... Who knew if any of them were like Flowey?  "T-t-thanks, guys.  S-s-so this is Vilight's?"

"Yep, this is Vilight's, the local diner. Hey, bro, can I talk to you a minute?"

Behind a bar appears to be a woman with a bartender's suit, made completely out of violet flame. The entire building seemed to be a bar or a tavern, filled with monsters playing cards and what not.
