After saving a guy from drowning (good that Angela Deth had some good Brute Force level) he joined my party because of some good rolls.
Then exploring around and understanding how crazy the situation was there, as the good desert ranger i decided to try to bring both murderous insane idiotic egomaniac leaders of each tribe to make peace.
It wasn't easy to refrain from just killing them all, because on one side the main guy put bombs around to kill defenseless people and on the other side the main guy was hanging defenseless people around.
Met an old woman of the Atchinson that asked me to put an end to all of this, either by doing the peace stuff or killing everyone involved to death
After working with quests toward my supposedly noble goal and trying to get the Romeo and Juliet-like story moving forward positively to help the case, i missed some rolls unfortunately on some important dialogues, that unfortunately led to something else...
the Topekan boss+gang managed to kill the Atchinson boss+gang during failed (damned bad roll
) negociations that ended with rifles and bullets.
Then to prevent the Tokepan gang to murder the Atchinson civilians in the few next days after their victory, i had to go out of my way and kill the Topekan boss and his gang in a warehouse firefight.
Not sure it's the desert ranger way but at least it prevented a future killing of civilians.
Unfortunately the bullets flying and corpses falling led the guy that joined us previously to refuse to follow us "you're not my friend anymore" because apparently some of the topekans gang were his pals, oh well at least he didn't shoot us in the back during the battle and decided to just sit out the whole thing.
Went to report how i finally solved the problem to the old woman that acknowledged that i did what i had to do.
Then once she was finished talking she proceeded to cut her own head just because.
Man that place was really insane.
Could also talk about the Mad Monks canyons that i just completed (good i had put my hand on the improved rad suits) but it's so hilariousy insane that it's best experienced by oneself instead of being read in spoiler
