She looks up, nodding.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll be okay. You, Wilson? Are you hurt at all?"

[SOLDIER First]

Wilson continues to have already taken some sort of drug a few minutes ago.

"I'm fine.. I'm glad everyone else is all right, too.. I thought Simuna was in serious trouble for a moment."

"So did I. Thank god...."
Penelope looks over, relieved.
"Although.....there IS something off."

Evridiki looks over at Penelope and focuses her sight (HUD and all) for a moment to confirm if she actually is telling the truth about her arm being uninjured, before walking on over to Chizuru.
"Alright, I've got you. Hold your arm out, I'm going to inject you and this should take care of your wounds in a couple of minutes."
And she indeed took out another tricord syringe and injected Chizuru.

The HUD.....herm. It seems to be glitching a little on Penelope. Or perhaps it's glitching in general. She did take a bit of a tumble a few times.

Well, anyway. She heals Chizuru.
"Oooooh......what is this? I feel.....INVIGORATED!"

[SOLDIER First]

"Huh?"

[Powder Miner]

"Tricordrazine, all purpose healing chemical."
She answered a little distractedly because her HUD was evidently glitching out, and she was tapping lightly on her temple as she went to scan her own arm.
"Ah Christ, I hope this thing isn't glitching out, it will be nigh-impossible to fix if it is out here..."

"The hawk and gorgon....they are not spirits. Or rather, they are not Mirages, as they call them. They are Mysterious Beings; purely biological and terrestrial in origin. I know, since I took them down myself. They were referred to as Shocker and Gorgom. I managed to defeat them two months ago.

There is something odd afoot if they are assisting the Youma in attacking our allies...."
It's glitching slightly indeed. However, the tapping manages to re-set it, and it fixes itself, scanning Evridiki's arm perfectly.
Chizuru looks amazed.
"Is it.....magic?"

[Chevaleresse]

"Wait, so those were the spirits of something you killed earlier?"

[Powder Miner]

"Ah, there we go. It's not magic, no, it's just... well, it's advanced medicine." She looked at the Channelers -- she wasn't about to slip the whole different worlds thing to these guys.

Evridiki did try to take one more scan of Penelope, but perhaps getting the feeling that it really wouldn't be all that simple, she didn't focus all too stubbornly on it.

Takatora shakes her head.
"No. We didn't sense anything different from these ones."
"Which makes me think.......I already defeated them, but......if they're here, attacking in the flesh...."

Chizuru looks impressed!
The scan detects....nothing. Not as in, it detects 'normal' readings. It detects nothing. Almost as if Penelope just isn't there.

Turn 4
Battle Theme

Mio charges towards the Protective Lexy, with a heavy attack that pierces it's defenses, dealing 63 damage. The Protective Lexy is looking weaker, floating limply, but it still has some fight left in it.

Chartre sprays down a Golden Gigas for 25 damage.

Chryssa smacks around the wounded Protective Lexy, dealing first 36 and then 28 damage.

Alanis Kinetic Bursts the Protective Lexy, dealing only 19 damage.

Inomi attacks the Protective Lexy more, dealing 35 damage. The Lexy is barely holding on now.

Loki, Kenji's Persona, raises a hand as ice spikes come out of the floor near the enemies, dealing 24 damage to both of the Golden Gigas', and 6 to the Protective Lexy.

Kenji takes something out of his pocket and throws it into the air, shooting it as it reaches the top of it's arc. The party is more resistant to damage now.

Ian flirts with Alanis. Because of the magic lock it doesn't do much but get Ian slapped. That'll be wearing off for the next turn though.

The Protective Lexy, barely alive but now finally able to use magic, raises a stringy hand as a golden aura appears around it.

It That Embraces continues with it's embrace... or would, if that aura didn't explode, knocking ItE back as soon as it made contact, dealing 30 damage to the avatar of the Primordial and putting them in critical condition, although still conscious, and the Protective Lexy unharmed, making a sadistic little smile now that it actually got to do something.

Golden Gigas B tries to hit Alanis again, and finally destroys the Kinetic Shell.

Eirika stabs the first Golden Gigas, dealing only 6 and 7 damage due to it's resistance.

Golden Gigas A punches ItE, bringing her to -8 HP, although due to her nature not killing her or knocking her out. It seems rather annoyed at this.

Sachi's scan shows a little too late that while the Lexy's magic isn't actively offensive, it can still deal damage; it can make shields around itself and allies that reflect damage back at their attacker.

Chartre again switched his position in the battle, once again warming up his Semblance -- even if it did still reflect back at him, he was fairly sure his Semblance would help him greatly.
Disabling Strike the Lexy again!
THAT is enough to get a double-take from Evridiki.
"What the fuck? _{...I'll have to talk to her later.}"
