He swaps out his pistol for his cigarette, holstering the weapon and lighting up the tobacco product.

"No, she's not.  Unless you're a reality-devouring monster.  In which case you are about to be never let go of.

But yeah, trying to take a hostage wasn't smart. I'm sure I'm not the only one that could very easily deal with you without touching a hair on her head."

The man considers ITE, looking her over with a single hand on her hip, the way someone looks at a new car. "So you're telling me this is God?"

They do but not completely? The way he's dressed, the pitch of his voice, it's all a little off from the Solid Snake Alanis would know.

If anyone were to check at this point, the "Mio" he had taken hostage of has vanished.

[If anything, I am the opposite of a weapon. I am- well, I would tell you, but I am not sure you would be able to comprehend it, much less believe it. So for the moment I am simply {I}.

However, I can assure you: no one here is here of their own will. Some of them may have chosen to stay, but like you, no one made a conscious choice to arrive. I imagine some of them might prefer it if this were hallucinogenic, but alas, that is not the case.]

ITE gives Snake? a shrug.

And of course, she makes sure to flood him with all the history and description, warmth and comfort and regret and wounds and feeling and touch and feel and sound and everything that marks her as her, instead of letting him content himself with "I" or her appearance or a simple feeling that translates into three words alone. Oh man!
