Alanis storms down the main concourse, fuming.  She might just happen to pass by the various reporter types.

"So you two are like me. summoned by the multiverse... This is... Strange... She looks so confused.

Yamal explodes out of her suit, leaving the shredded remains nowhere to be found. Somehow, either her labcoat and normal outfit was on beneath it or she is a master of anime costume changes.

"Hey! Hey hey hey!"

And then she rushes the unfortunate girl with almost all of the energy she had displayed prior to donning the suit, her eyes deadly serious as she latches onto Mystery Girl and stares at her.

"This is important! What did you say about a multiverse summoning things?! Does that not imply a sentient multiverse? I demand evidence! You must provide evidence for this claim! If that were true, it would have a profound impact on our understanding of reality itself!"

"Well, in theory, there's asteroids in space that have resources that you could take back to the planet. Of course, I have no idea wha....

"So then what scientific value do they have?"

"It's true! Extraplanetary space contains many rare minerals in comets and asteroids! Not only that, but freefall is a prime place to conduct all sorts of experiments and tests that simply can't be done under Earth gravity! The vacuum of space, similarly, is purer than any produced in a lab! And there is a potential to operate equipment at very, very low temperatures for extended periods of time, and freedom from weather and atmospheric interference provides a far better platform for all sorts of astronomy, and orbital measurements can see changes to Earth that would be all but imperceptible from the ground, and particularly provides an excellent view of the weather!"

Yamal VIBRATES INTENSELY in the direction of this claim.

"I said I wanted evidence! Tests! Results! SCIENCE!"

Labcoat Shipgirl shakes a bit more. And shakes Shirogane with her, while she's at it. She'd huff at the now-not-so-mysterious girl, but she's too busy with SCIENCE HYPE.

"I know this, because I helped choose who was summoned, It was requested of me to aid in the selection process by an avatar of the Multiverse. But then I was summoned. I know not what for..."

"I see. So. Take us to the others you selected, if you know where they are."

"And how long is this gonna be...? And why?"

Victoria also waits to be answered by Alanis.

Suddenly Alanis is trying to punch Shirogane in the face.

Inside the station, a green suit lays motionless on the ground. The wearer opens his eyes and blinks.

"This... is not the Mojave."
