((I'd imagine it'd be very hard to actually run anything like the good old Yakuza, given that the Taisha and the police force are likely breathing down their necks to keep them away from Hero candidates and as a matter of course, respectively, and Kamogawa, as far as I know, isn't exactly a Yakuza hub even now, unless someone would like to correct me.

Considering how fucked most of Japan- and the world- were during the Vertex descent, there couldn't have been that many Yakuza who even escaped the apocalypse. ))
