Tourmaline nods and begins creating and connecting the new hard point for the wireless systems.

ENG easily finds the deactivated terminal. It still appears to be normal tech, which should make turning it back on easier.

ENG would check first that it is connected to power, before attempting to re-activate the terminal.

The terminal is indeed receiving power. When he goes to re-activate it, it spits out an error and shuts back down.

Alanis arrives at the terminal.  It That Embraces may or may not be with her.

It That Embraces is wanderign around in the general area of Alanis, but not exactly sticking with her. Technology not being her strong suit, she just blinks at the terminal's shenanigans.

He would attempt to open the terminal's casing to get a look at the wiring. perhaps something other than the power was disconnected or damaged.

When ENG Open's the case he sees that a lot of the console's components are damaged, burnt, or otherwise messed up. There are also signs of some kind of creature having lived in it at one point, namely the skeleton it left behind.

Aside from the brief moment of initial sarcasm, ENG would sound sincere as he starts cleaning out and attempting to replicate some replacement parts with his ACE tool. He would set the skeleton aside for later study as intact as possible.

The terminal parts are easy to replace. Within a few minutes the console turns back on, showing a strong connection to the defence batteries he just repaired earlier. Seems Tourmaline has finished setting up the connection.
