Garnt is off... somewhere, presumably still in Mio's house, doing Garnty things.

Like trying to figure out how to forge the very soul of a being, using another weapon as a base, into a powerful weapon of some sort.

It was a complicated process, that much was true, even moreso without the equipment the Giant Blacksmith had possessed for this. But he'd seen it enough times to memorise the process, for the most part, and was adept at manipulating souls. Trying it at least once could not hurt, could it?

Well, if something went wrong, it could. But he would not dwell on that, for now at least.

Garnt attempts to combine the Twilit Sword and the Pisces Vertex Essence together to create something greater than the sum of its parts.

Perhaps surprisingly, Chizuru's pose... is countered. It That Embraces has watched her and Idou enough to get the idea down, it seems. She Menaces with snugly inteent!

[Do not get ahead of yourself, {Chizuru}. Alanis is already firmly devoted to Its Embrace, as you may have noticed. And just because I want to keep her... devotion from reaching unhealthy levels, does not mean I relinquish my claim on her. One day, all (shadows/thin things/mortals) will be sheltered under my umbrella. ]

It's 'spoken' quite playfully, and presumably in jest. Even the Primordial has a sense of humor.

[In all seriousness, perhaps this is an unhealthy challenge. As previously noted, you and I are too different to be proper rivals. after all, I'm a PC and you're an NPC. For now.]

And the punishment comes in the form of hugs. Not as good as ItE's, but Chizuru's had LOTS of experience hugging people, as Mio and just about everyone else in the Hero Club could probably tell you.
"I'm just saying. Whatever actually happens between you two, you'd better treat her nicely. She means the world to us. We all watch each others backs."
"An astute deduction!"
