[In my honest opinion, without me, {Alanis} would have broken down completely by this point. At least twice, now, she has been on the verge of collapse from what she's been through. But in the end, does it matter? I am {It That Embraces}. I Embrace. When I see (beings?people?things?) who are in suffering and pain, as I have been, I attempt to comfort them- from the lowliest child to the vastest deity. That is my nature. It was burned into me by what I have lost. I cannot simply not do these things. Nor can I simply not be here.]

As an aside:

[Alanis, please do try to socialize with your fellow people. They're certainly right in one way. It's not good for a (human/shadow/thin thing) to only interact with something so radically different. I cannot be your friend as they can. I cannot care about you the way they can.]
