I Slash my left hand with my sharp piece of metal, and put a bloody line on the wall as I go looking for the locker room, How can this not succeed?

A weird frame, eh? What sort of frame?
Garnt keeps searching for something that can be attached to a hilt, at any rate. He needed a backup weapon in case his Drake Sword broke, and the summoning removed what backups he had, for some reason.

Said frame looks as if you could shove it onto the hilt with some sort of tool.

How it might fail, you ask?

You end up in the freaking sleeping quarters again. Oh, and your hand is bleeding badly, too. Might want to get a medic to check it out.

You FINALLY get out of the infinite loop you've led yourself into and......still get nowhere near the locker room. Well, at least you managed to navigate your way out of the sleeping quarters.

Gozer and Dackly awaken, and they grab the urns and go to Garnt.

"We decided to interact with you for no reason. We have a ton of death liquid and death shards."

I start digging through the lockers

...if only he had tools of any sort, really. But he didn't, so that wasn't really an option...
Garnt looks around for tools. If the hilt and frame were here, perhaps the tool needed was nearby as well? It was rarely, if ever, that simple, but it was still worth a shot.

No such luck. Perhaps asking one of the mechanics on the ship to help out is a brilliant idea.

Also, you smell blood nearby.....and you see Finsib with a bleeding hand. Excellent.

Well, most of everything that anyone could get from here is gone, with the exception of a few slides on the floor and whatever Garnt took.

Perhaps it would be, but Garnt is a medieval man from a pre-industrial society who knows not of these 'mechanics' and 'technological wonders'.

Still, somebody was poking him... And why did he smell blood?
