Wilson doesn't meet her eyes.

Seven unarmed women against aforementioned platoon of armed men who would gladly violate said women on a whim were obviously just a ploy by the enemy, who had the women pretend to be hopeless and risk getting raped and killed so that on the infinitesmal chance one fucking guy would let them go, instead of raping and killing them as expected, and that they would make it to the village (which he easily could have lied about), and that they would be believed about the enemy location, and that the enemy would still be there when the other soldiers arrived, and that they wouldn't be expecting an ambush, just because they could. "So this "Life Well Lived" game, I'm assuming... is something perhaps a bit too horrific for the normal arcade. I don't know, though. ...do you need any help, Wilson, was it?"

Simuna grabs Wilson's shoulder firmly. "Get a hold of yourself. Whatever has happened, it is past. Calm yourself down." Strangely, she, too, seems to be shaking slightly.

[SOLDIER First]

"I-I don't..."

Wilson looks into Simuna's face, now.
His eyes shine behind the dirt-laminated lenses.
