As Elf hinted to before, there's going to be a lot of downtime/character-development sections in the second act of my plot, and there will be a method to travel between the plot and Twi's/Elf's, so you wouldn't be locked in.

Alright, here's a suggestion:

Scrap Alanis' sheet entirely. Keep items and stuff that you got outside of character creation and leveling, but otherwise scrap the sheet. Rebuild her from the ground up and make a concerted effort not to game the system. Consider if it works in the game before if it would work realistically.

Or alternatively, game the system as much as you can but add the effect that Alanis is stalked by an Umineko-style metacreature that hunts her down, striking her with manifestations of GM rulings and player opinion. And that creature is designed by everyone else

What? It'll be fun! You'll get to make a character with far less oversight than usual, and we'll get to make a character that stabs your character repeatedly for it! It's a win-win! Hell, we could even make them a tsundere and a potential romantic interest to counteract ItE being NPC'fied, I mean, it won't stop them from stabbing her, but still :3

More seriously it isn't entirely your fault, the summoning revamp doesn't really lend itself too well to balance right now unfortunately.

tbh, haruka's sheet is a good sheet and all but a single ability really really shouldn't give more than one summon type

Off the top of my head? Bundling of Actions, odd damage formulas that result in abnormally high damage for an otherwise less-than-optimized build, and Blinding Light is possibly OP for its level.

Honestly, the normal Kinetic shield should have always been a summon, as is, it is just a summon that has damage priority and does it's job the turn she summons it.

So you want the 96-HP 10RES Force Construct as opposed to the 30something HP no-RES Kinetic Shell...?

Nope, I actually want 30-something no RES kinetic shell, and have it take up a perk slot and skill slot, and be able to do nothing but sit there and look pretty.

But by now, nothing anyone says about Alanis will likely save her now.
