Actually, you could also have RES and CON represent taking cover and whatnot to minimize damage. Since in Woody's case, he's meant to be pretty damn squishy and revives incredibly quickly.

Okay, an actually relevant question this time that isn't aimed at completely derailing the plot and finding a way to live in peace alongside the antagonists, can battle plans be crafted from intel and used as baubles?

So, any verdict on this?

Probably, but it depends on the bonuses.

Okay, So the Phazon heart adds 4HP per level to the user. It's not a on level up thing but a flat bonus to the wearer. So at level 5, it adds a bonus 20 HP to the wearer (until it's unequiped.). It also makes any damage the user would recieve into Pure damage, which ignores all Resistance. So It's great for people who don't have any resistance.

Okay, here's how I was thinking it'd work: people would go get intel and logistical details. The tactically/strategically inclined party members would then roll to craft a Battle Plan which gives no bonuses at all. Each person involved will then take a copy of the battle plan and use it to craft Personal Orders. Personal Orders give pretty good bonuses that reflect what their user's assigned role for the battle is. However, they can only be used for the battle they were made for (unless for some reason they end up in a carbon copy of the battle or something). Furthermore, the crafting rolls and bonuses are all hidden until they actually enter the battle itself. Furthermore, if really unexpected stuff happens, such as if somebody accidentally gets possessed by an inverted black pyramid larger than the entire universe due to staring at white noise or something, the bonuses can decay or even be lost outright.

It's basically something to make INT more useful for everyone, since right now people could probably just rely on high-INT PCs to craft gear on their behalf. Plus it helps make the RP itself influence the gameplay, since the intel gathering and whatnot would be RP'd.

The issue with that, is that most times the characters don't have time for intel gathering. Like at all.
