Oh yeah, everything went fine. Basically I have minor diverticulitis but(t) that's it.
Worst part of the whole thing was the day before with the liquid diet, ended up puking cuz hungry. Actual procedure was done under sleepytime, woke up on amazing drugs that made everything interesting. One of the first things I saw was a window with a blinder pulled over it and thought it was a Star Trek viewscreen. Also when they wheeled me to recovery dude told me to keep laying on my side and my response was "but then they'll see my butt, they can't handle my butt"

(I'm kind of nervous, as this isn't exactly what I'm good at. Not even nervous a bit when I'm taking a Linear Algebra final exam, but a sophomore fitness class? Scary! )

(and YES I have studied all I can. The morale boost from this message will improve my score more than another minute of studying.)

By the way, the final was not a thing. It never existed, has never existed in the first place, and likely will never come into existence. Except in the mind of a lax, irresponsible LEG. See the luagh thread for more. (I'll add a link once there's something to link to.)

Well. This "being a landlord" thing (even if I'm technically more like a sub-landlord or something) keeps revealing new stresses all the time.
Hadn't really thought of it before, but I guess I'm kind of responsible for the welfare of the people renting my rooms?

Kind of. Maybe not, really. But still, when someone expresses their concern to me about the state of things around here and asks me to try and sort shit out, well. That drives home the fact that I really kinda should be the one to sort things out. I am actually glad I spent most of the day at work, despite how goddamn tired I feel now.      

I can't take responsibility for my own life, but for some reason I'm in charge of a sharehouse.
I don't even know how many people fucking live here. How I long for the days (brief though they were) when I was on my own here with only my strawberry plant for company. On that note, I haven't been taking much care of it lately. Who knows if it's going to successfully fruit.
I really just want to flee under cover of darkness and never return, but I am too much of a hoarder to just ditch all my belongings.


Edit: Oh gawds you could cut the tension in my house with a knife right now.
How the heck am I s'posed to deal with this? Argh.
