Declare.
The resting period for the tired fairies would be short lived, however, as a larger tank rumbled into view from behind their cannon: luckily, it was one of their own, a bit also stranded seperately from the main group: its commander was yacking on some type of cellphone-like device, narrowly avoiding crushing her unfortunate commerades bellow by chance,
"Hello? Hello, uh, leader person? Um, I think I lost connection with you- I'll just call later, okay!" She had been trying to call whatever unit her tank was attached to for several hours, mostly oblivious to the fact that she was by then thousands of miles away, if not more. In her field of vision, she spotted two tanks painted the same color as her own, and the tank commander grew curious.
"Hey! You down bellow, follow those little chickens* in front of us; I think they're ours~!" she shouted down the tank hatch in order to alert the rest of the crew. The semi-conscious artilleryfairy was still too exhausted to speak over the loud noise of the tank's tracks running against the pavement.
The smaller tank team was now closing in on the other end of the apartment, still shrouded by its blockyness and girth. The fairies inside were busy rummaging, building pillow forts, and sitting around feeling important doing nothing respectively. The sky crew above cautiously pushed forward, some members sneaking behind the large billboard that dominated the top of the building in case something mean were to pop out from the crashed object;
or whatever caused said object to crash in the first place was about. The eastmost fairies were detecting a slight anomaly of some kind via their nature-senses, though all it did was give them a slight sense of unease.
*Nickname given to the Chisai-Keninsha 32 light tank, a common early model of fairy tank constructed by a third party: known to be lightweight, yet mechanically simple & robust.
