NJWAnd if you are town, keep in mind that I may just be thick new.
FTFY, also why I'm not voting you anymore
OSGI did answer your question. You assumed he was scum, I made sure to keep the option of him being VT open. If he was VT, his actions would make sense, if he was scum, his actions would make sense. Just like every other player in this game. That is the extent of my hypothetical situation.
So now you're saying your hypothetical situation was that "I (OSG) think his play makes sense if he's VT, but also if he's scum"? Are you sure? Maybe want to change your story one more time?
I didn't ask you for whether or not his actions were reasonable as scum or town, I asked you for a specific thing (implied by using "what" ie a post, some nugget of information) that made you think he wasn't doing another specific thing, which was tunneling. This could have taken the form of a quote in which he asked another player a series of questions, before, after or during when he said I was scum; perhaps a point in which he pressured another player with a vote or FoS.
On top of that, you've changed your story:
"I wasn't assuming he was VT"
became:
"I was assuming in a hypothetical situation that he was VT"
became:
"Hey, in that hypothetical situation his actions make sense if he is VT or scum".
You didn't answer the question, if that's your story. What's the point of a hypothetical situation that says "yeah his actions are, you know, what happens in mafia"? That's like... the worst answer to a direct question. Ever.
That's hedging,
at best. At worst it's you looking to avoid implicating your scumbuddy.
