Quick question, which players are still paying attention to this thread?  May shift the game down to have a more limited crew.

Uh, I think people are (or at least were) paying attention, except really, nothing much has happened. The ship hasn't launched, and more or less things are somehow expected to be kind of a chat room with a floorplan overlay in character, for 19 or 20 people....

At this point it would be the development of interactions between the various members of the crew, selection of an area to sleep within, meeting superiors to find out who is in charge of your character, and, if available, performance of the position's duties (ex. observation of systems as they are utilized, flying the ship, becoming familiar with the control scheme if from another planet, etc.).

I'm not sure people quite get it, or at least all 19 of them sure don't. How do you structure that conversation anyhow? It's office small talk, across 3 posts?

Person in charge: "Hi person I'm the boss of, how're you?"
Subordinate: "I'm great boss, thanks, the engines are running great by the way."
Person in charge: "Super, keep up the good work."

And that's assuming all 19 people remain interested and posting actively. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a pain in the ass and I hope I'm not, but how is this supposed to happen?

Also, by the way that atleast one guy was acting, it became atleast my belief that sleeping areas where going to be assigned by a superior, or atleast abstracted.

The other Ground Troops and I were talking, but we're kind of just waiting for the ship to launch before we start sparring and the like...hard to do anything when you're unsure if time is even passing.
