Perhaps I should have been keeping up with this better...

Search a home for a working phone that I can use to contact fellow revolutionaries.  If I find one, call for reinforcements from HQ.

Round 18: The Kung-Fu Kid
Location: Denmark, Wisconsin
Weather Conditions: Snowing (7.9 inches)
Time: Early Evening

NAV runs towards the Militant who is feeding ammunition into his revolver when NAV unleashes an unorthodox combat technique not previously seen exploited in the Wiki-War Tournament. (8+2 vs. 10) NAV bats his eyelashes and blow the militant a kiss who lowers his firearm to gaze transfixed at NAV as the ancient warrior seductively gyrates his hips and runs his hands down his body; it is uncertain whether the militant has been seduced or is simply in a state of shock from what NAV would resort to. When NAV believes he finally has achieved control over his target's mind, he rushes for his Golf Club but his sudden movement snaps the Militant out of his trance. (4 vs. 9) NAV dives, avoid a close range shot from the militant as he grabs his 9-iron off of the ground. (8+3 vs. 1) Close enough to engage in CQC, NAV performs a spinning maneuver towards the militant before he can fire another shot, and uses the momentum of his spin to launch a diagonal attack, the force of which is enough to crack the militant's skull and send him down, permanently. His body and his revolver both fall mostly silent on the snowy ground.

Nunzillor clutches her wounded arm as she skiis through the deserted residential section of Denmark, silent except for the winter wind. Nunzillor knows that she has to contact someone on her side, she's not going to get far on her own, her last attempt at defeating another competitor left her with one bad arm. She looks towards one of the houses and skiis up to its doorstep, attempting to get through the locked door. (4) Nunzillor twists the lock and tries picking it with her Katana to no avail. She could always try smashing in a window to get inside, though that came with the risk of setting of an alarm.

Abstract calls up the Cooperstown police department and informs them that he has three refugees from Denmark that need a safe place to stay. After he makes the call, his passengers and himself wait in the idling vehicle until a police car arrives. It's not much of a police car, just your typical sedan with the words 'Police' painted onto the side, it clearly displayed how many resources this tiny village put into its police force. A man wearing casual clothing but also with a visible badge on his breast approached Abstract, knocking on his window and looking around inside the car. "Listen sir, I'll take 'em and get them somewhere to spend the night. But you can't use this place as some sort of haven, a lot of people here are having problems with the snow here and it's not like there's a lot of people on our staff just waiting around. Why don't you go to Green Bay instead? I'm sure you could find something better in the city."

Execute affirms that he is a true God to the natives; the war leader bows up and down furiously, "The prophecies have come true, our savior is here!" Execute orders them to retrieve the weapons of the fallen Europeans, and following that they are to take him to their village. The natives recover as much of the strange devices as they can before leading Execute and Yuri down a jungle path that neither of them would have spotted without the help of their guides; as they move through the tropic trees they can still hear the sounds of fighting in the distance. They come through a tall palisade where guards watch over them from towers. Entering the city, Execute passes houses, not primitive huts but proto-modern two-story buildings. He passes natives in their daily activities of farming, gardening, house-keeping, socializing or just walking form point A to point B. Execute is subject to all sorts of unspoken reactions from confusion to bewilderment, shock to anger. Eventually they move through a bustling marketplace and finally to a giant stone pyramid. An elaborately dressed figure sits on top of a golden throne at the top of this pyramid. He stands when the war party makes their approach, to which they all immediately stop and bow like they had down to Execute. "Azgotol, who are these men? Captured pale men for sacrifice or maybe slavery?" His booming voice is audible even though he stands all the way at the top of the huge structure. "No Emperor!" War Party Leader Azgotol yells back, "These are not like the other pale men! Look at how they dress and walk differently! We have seen their magic and they can speak with us in our tongue; they are the spirits the prophecy foretells us about!" The Emperor peers down upon Execute, "What do you have to say about this?"

Ukranian Ranger takes her single recruit into her dojo to train him. The building is still full of dentistry equipment when they come in, "Hey fam, are you sure this is the right place?" The teenager asks. U.R. assures him that a dentist's office is a suitable place to master the art of Kung-fu, after all, both skilled fighters and skilled dentists are known for inflicting pain. (1+1) While teaching the skinny teen the fundamentals of fighting, (and he seems about as naturally talented as a starfish reciting poetry) he manages to knock over a bunch of dental equipment and fail to get a grasp over even a basic technique. After one incident that leaves him on the floor covered in mouth wash he asks, "Dude, I don't even know if you're like a real trained kung-fu master or professional or whatever bro."

As Hawk attempts to recruit more police officers to follow him by convincing them of his falsified information, the chief officer from before pulls him aside. "Sir, we just got a call from Bill Shrewp, the District Attorney. He's downtown, hurt, and he has some sort of gang coming after him! We have to hurry!"

Person abandons his Sports Car and carries his toolbox and soda with him on foot. He locks the door to the car and makes his way back downtown, reloading both of his guns on the way. (6) He searches for anything resembling a pawnshop and while he doesn't find one, he does find what is advertised on the outside as some sort of local swap-meet/flea market, so it would probably have similar supplies to a pawnshop, albeit with more useless junk and overall less quality. While he locates the store, he doesn't go inside just yet...

The sky begins to darken as day shifts into twilight. The sun glows a dying orange across the sky.

((The weapons that my followers have gathered are just normal rifles, right?))
The (false) god laughs and fixes his eyes on the emperor, speaking out in booming tones, just as the leader had, "I need not say much, leader of this tribe, but I can easily show you my strength, bring me a painting of any kind from this tribe and bring it to me, and I will show you the truth of the prophecy given to you!"
Let's put those acting skills to the test, if they do bring a painting to me, open it with my powers and show them my magic.

No need, one of the houses is sure to have an open window or door.  Keep checking the houses and, while doing so, convince self to rebel against injury to completely negate its effects.

Beat teenager to get some kunf-fu practice and punish him for calling a lady "dude" and doubting my kung-fu mastery. Then go outside looking for other wiki-tournament contestants

Round 18: The Kung-Fu Kid
Location: Denmark, Wisconsin
Weather Conditions: Snowing (8.6 inches)
Time: Early Evening

Ukrainian Ranger punishes her failed student for insulting her and gets some Kung-Fu practices in as well. (6+2 vs. 8) "Never call a lady by such an improper term!" She yells following it up with a sidekick to the chest that the teen barely evades. "What the hell, dude!" (4 vs. 5+2) He throws a jab that Ukrainian Ranger easily deflects with her forearm, (12 vs. 6) and then hits him in the sternum with the elbow of her other arm. The teen gasps and staggers backwards, giving Ranger plenty of time to grab him by the arm and throw him to the ground, his back slamming on the hard tile floor. Ranger dusts her hands off and goes looking for a proper challenger. (8) Ranger spots Hawk and a group of police officers driving downtown, and where one contestant is going, there's bound to be more...

"Very well. I shall accompany you, officers." Hawk follows the police officer into his cruiser and with the start of the blaring sirens he is driven towards the downtown epicenter of Denmark. With the officer's permission, Hawk uses the car's telephone to call for more officers. (9+2) After some sincere bullshitting, Hawk is able to convince even more officers that he was definitely sent by the government of Wisconsin to temporarily take over the Denmark Police Department. After confirming that they will get back-up (all of whom are buying into Hawk's ploy), Hawk and his officer escort arrive downtown where two officers are already stationed and an ambulance is attending to the injured Bill Shrewp, District Attorney. The two officers at the scene have their guns out, "We've got a hostile Wiki-Warrior on the loose attacking civilians! Keep your guard up for anyone that looks suspicious!"

Nunzillor continues to walk the streets of Suburban Denmark, trying to convince her body to rebel against her injuries, however, she stops this internal rebellion before it gets out of hand; her organs could start rebelling by ceasing to function or her cells could rebel by giving her cancer, among other possibilities. (6) She does find a home with an open window, or more accurately, what was once a window attached to a wall that has since become a crater, reminiscent of the destruction of Denmark that happened before she arrived. She enters what she is guessing is a kitchen, due to the remains of what appear to be a sink and a stove. Searching through the rubble, she finds a phone but it had been severed from its cable; whoever lived here must have been old-school with technology.

Execute speaks to the Emperor, his voice booming with authority similar to the monarch that sat in the pyramid above him, "I need not say much, leader of this tribe, but I can easily show you my strength, bring me a painting of any kind from this tribe and bring it to me, and I will show you the truth of the prophecy given to you!" The Emperor nods, "Very well. Give our visitor one of our finest pieces of art! And we will put his so called magical prowess to the test," he says, crossing his arms sternly. With a couple minutes, the villagers present Execute with a painting, one of a scene of ancient myth that has been carved into stone. As Execute opens a swirling portal into the stone, crackling with energy, the villagers jump back and some exclaim in fear, while the Emperor tilts his head upwards to get a better view. Execute dives on in...
Execute finds himself somewhere dark and rainy, with wind blowing the black clouds above him at a fierce speed and thunder constantly exploding in the distance while flashes of lightning dance in the horizon. He looks to the horizon to try and see where he might be, but because of the darkness he can only see a few meters around him. From the clouds above come a glow that brightens and grows at an exponentially rate, and from this glow comes a figure. The figure resembles a reptilian head and is absolutely massive, even from his perspective below it Execute can barely keep the head in his field of view. The head is adorned with all sorts of fantastic jewelry in intricate patterns that Execute had never seen. It did not seem like this head was the whole being, Execute assumed that it had a body as well, and it was if the head was poking through the clouds while its body remained above them, like if someone put just their head under water. The being speaks:
"MORTAL. WHAT BUSINESS DO YOU HAVE COMING TO QUETZALCOATL, LORD OF THE SKIES?"

NAV takes the Revolver from the fallen Militant and continues down the alleyway after Immaterial. He leans without exposing himself at the end of the alleyway, looking to see what situation Immaterial is in now. NAV spots some emergency responders attending to Immaterial while a few armed police officers talk with each other, while what looks like a new competitor stands among him. This whole thing was messing with his plans...

Abstract takes the advice of the Cooperstown Police Officer and drives towards Green Bay with a mission to create a refuge system. (7) The drive is somewhat perilous in the snowstorm with slippery roads and lowered visibility, but Abstract makes it to Green Bay with his car and himself intact. The city features all sorts of buildings that are by no means skyscrapers but just about everything dwarfs what Denmark had. Abstract had numerous options, including going to the city hall or police station, but if he had an aversion to bureaucracy he could try finding some sort of organization that would be sympathetic to his cause.

The sun continues to fall and the dark night sky takes over, while the snow makes it even darker. The temperature is dropping significantly.
