1805 GREENHEART TIME, MAY 21st, 301 P.L
ERROR: FAILED TO CONNECT TO INTERNET TIME SERVER.

Arthur Staunch (Megggas):

Examine the greenfish corpses and check if I can craft anything with them.

[2] The corpses are mostly just meat. They have a few rows of tiny teeth, but there's nothing immediately craftable with them yet.
You dissect one and find that the teeth are connected to little venom glands.

However, the other three greenfish are still alive. They simply seem exhausted.

Spoiler: Status,Traits,Invntory (click to show/hide)

Ciri (Twinwolf):

Anything weird about the steel girders? Because if they were just debris from the ship crash, they'd probably not be particularly eye-catching, right?

They are some of the few things scattered about besides sand. And they all happened to land in roughly the same area for some reason.

[2] They're stuck deep in the ground and won't move an inch.

Nole (Slayer1557):

Nole was excited to hear another shuttle, but they didn't exactly have good news.

Quote from: To Radio
"What did you say!?  Other humans on the planet?  How is that possible?  I don't know if we'll be able to rescue them right now.  There's three of us here, and four more who went off to make contact with another shuttle, G15, I believe.  Oh, and the CAB-iN-Boy.  I haven't had contact with them since they left, and I fear the worst.  I'm Marcus Noehl, or just 'Nole'.  Can you locate our shuttle?  Our spotlight is on right now if you get in visual range, but the rain is not helping.  Do you have a 3D Printer?  We have a good stock of voxels."

Try to get the distance to their shuttle, or better yet a direction.  Do whatever I can to enable them to do the same (Some kind of signal, etc).

((The text below isn't part of your inventory necessarily, and it's updated as far as I can tell, unless you meant to eat a whole fish. Night didn't eat any.))

Quote from: Shuttle Radio
It says we are 46 meters apart. I don't think that is right.
"Sounds borked." says Night out of nowhere. Somehow she's been reading over your shoulder without you noticing.
"Are you sure there isn't any interference? These shuttles were probably designed to be used for an expedition on an empty world."
Quote from: Shuttle Radio
I think we had a printer... but the other humans took it with them. They said they needed it for war or something. I think there's something wrong with the shuttle calendars. This can't be the day after the crash.

Master Chef +1 bonus will apply to next action (skipped because rolled a 5)

You have 10 red fish, 1 cooked
You have 6 green fish, 0.8 cooked
You have .9 cooked sand slug

Cueball (Paphi):

[4] You manage to catch him and drag him into the armored car, shutting the hatch and looking for something to seal the door with, like a piece of metal or--

...you realize that there's a pair of batteries next to the gunner's seat. And they're both Cryonix models. Cryopod batteries.

Nyar Donovon (WunderKatze):

The car has a radio, [4] which you tune to random frequencies and repeat your message into until you get a response. Eventually, one of the figures walks back into the vehicle.
Cabinboy says: "I repeated your message on most of the frequencies. Hope that helped!"

All five figures then step away from the vehicle.

Current Armor: +2
Current weapon: 60mm Mark III Gun (Accuracy: 4close/3mid/2far)
Ammunition:
4x High Explosive (Power: 3) (Can hit multiple infantry)
7x High Velocity (Power: 4)
2x HEAT (Power: 5)

S. D. "Smooth" McGroove (SaberToothTiger):

[2] You try to run, but the bald guy is too much for your injured body. He drags you into the metal coffin waiting for you across the field. Inside there's a guy cussing at a radio and a terminator robot with half a smile.
The robot says something to the guy cussing:
"I repeated your message on most of the frequencies. Hope that helped!"

Look under a seat for loot and then try to seal the door, if it's unsealed.

"You gonna run away again, kid? We needed to be gone ten minutes ago.

Here's the rundown, folks: The planet, as you can see, is inhabited. Apparently it's even post-apocalyptic. These guys, call themselves the Reich, are fighting these other guys, call themselves Latins. Sound familiar, Nyar?

Hell if I remember which are which, but this,"
Cueball waves the refugee paperwork in front of everyone, "makes us refugees. For those of us with an interest in Ancient Earth History, their tech is roughly WWII-era.

So, on the agenda now: hostages, weapons, and that tank. Another armored vehicle would be a major bonus, and I don't mind a hostage as long as we can talk to him. Dunno where these guys came from, exactly. The armory's bunk and Graves dropped those sidearms, so we need something.

I'm thinking Nyar and I get that tank, a hostage, and disarm the rest, while you three take this one to G2, then we all meet back at G19. Thoughts?"

In between sobbing S.D. manages to whimper out four words before starting to weep again. The words being "I got a note."
Then he shows everyone the note.

"These are the Latins. The Reich is their enemy." Graves corrects. "'Reich' means 'realm' in their language. They call it that because the Reich is a revolutionary democratic state without a king. Myself, I think we should throw in our lot with the more modern one."

Upon seeing SDs note Nyar responds, "I see you have met "them""

"So we're letting some of them go?"

"So we're letting some of them go?"

"It would be a testament of good will to let some of them go free." Graves remarks.

Drive over to the fuckers.

"Alright assholes." Nyar yells across to the crewmen, "Hand over your weapons or I'll shoot your fucking eyes out."

Nyar points at one, "You're coming with me fuckhead. If you decide to be a raging dike and run I'll fucking shoot you."

Take any weapons they have and escort one to the armored car giving one submachince gun I had to graves.

Also shoot the fucker if he runs.

"Here let me get this tank moving I'm pretty sure I know how to get it running." Operate the tank and drive it (or let Cueball drive if he wants to) to the location Cueball specified.

The chief fucker, dressed in a long blue greatcoat with an extravagance of sequins and tassels, walks ahead of his group and meets you face to face in defiance.

In an overwhelmingly disgusting French accent, and great difficulty speaking over the sputtering of the empty assault gun nearby.
"What is the meaning of this? You are not Latinmen at all, and you speak Inglish like the highland savages! Pray tell, are you in league with the monarchists or have you stolen that vehicle built by fascist hands?"

The enemy vehicle is an assault gun with a fixed forward gun and a low profile, heavily armored on the front and sides (although the armor is not heavily sloped). Its front features curved spikes that almost dig into the ground, and there are dozer blades backed between the spikes. There are broken shovels all over the ground, but there is one still attached to the side of the tank, along with other gear in bags which managed to escape the blast.

You roll [6]. He rolls (3).

The man is sent falling backward, while his men all cower to their knees.
Defeated, he rubs his face.

"I concede! Please, take Bovard as your prisoner!"

The one named Bovard looks confused.

"Good work, kid." What the hell did I just watch?

Grab a battery, leaving the circuit closed to the other, of course. Proceed to inspect bags for weapons, food, maps, field guides, anything that might come in handy. He also makes casual conversation to see which know English.

"Heard there's a war going on, fellas. Sorry we dropped by in the middle of it. We don't mean to intervene, but our tech level is, well, obscene. Can't let tech fall into the wrong hands and all that."

(1) The other assault gun crew look at your party with a sense of puzzlement--and fear, of course. The English-speaker turns around and explains something in French to them.

He then faces forward and replies.
"Your tech level... the way you speak... you are not from our lands, are you? Are you perchance from the Great Beyond?"
He seems interested in your helmet. He cannot see your face through the black screen.

"Ughhh... Why does there have to be French fuckers in deep space... This is a fucking nightmare." Nyar covers his ears to avoid the tainted air filled with French vibrations. I think I'm going to throw up.

"Also you suck at war you fuck. Who operates an assault gun without close infantry support?" Oh gawd french speaking infantry...

The Frenchman swings his head around in pompous declaration.

"You have laid your eyes upon a Hunter Killer Squadron of Liberty." You can actually hear the capitalization.
"We are an independent strike group whose mode opératoire is to lie in wait half-buried in the sand and strike when our opponents have their guard down."

He makes a hand motion with his fist crashing into an open palm.

"And then... we run away."
