"Uh-huh. Well, here's the thing. Time is running short. The scout teams sent out recently will probably be back soon, and we meant to be gone an age ago. We're taking your vehicle. You all either come nicely or I melt your skulls."

Quote from: Radio
"We really need to get going. Graves, you know what to do. Let's get this wreck moving, Nyar. I figure we can drop them off somewhere safe. Annoying to listen to, but I agree with Graves."

Keep looking for the supplies, I guess. Then go back to where the other people were.

"You're probably right, Night... err... Assass... Do you go by anything shorter than that?  Or more... er... normal?  Maybe 'Nia'?"  He tried to put it tactfully, but probably insulted her anyway.

Quote from: Radio
"What makes you think we've been crashed longer?  We've all been waking up at the same time, haven't we?  Our shuttle woke up about <insert time here> ago.  Anyway, I'm gonna see if I can't reduce the effect of the interference."
(Time being how long the timer on my suit has been going)

Try to identify the source of the interference.  Can the computer diagnose the problem?  Is it from the ship, or from an external source?  Is there an atmospheric charge that's causing problems?  Or just the rain?  Try to locate the ship's antenna.  It's probably internal though.  My plan is to shield the antenna with some metal, like an ad hoc dish.  Hopefully to eliminate some noise, and to establish a direction for this other ship.

"Yeah. We saw how good you are at hunting..." Nyar says still cringing from their outrageous accent, ".... And at running away for that matter."

Continue with actions left over in earlier reply.

1815 GREENHEART TIME, MAY 21st, 301 P.L
ERROR: FAILED TO CONNECT TO INTERNET TIME SERVER.

Arthur Staunch (Megggas):

Examine the greenfish corpses and check if I can craft anything with them.

[2] The corpses are mostly just meat. They have a few rows of tiny teeth, but there's nothing immediately craftable with them yet.
You dissect one and find that the teeth are connected to little venom glands.

However, the other three greenfish are still alive. They simply seem exhausted.

Spoiler: Status,Traits,Invntory (click to show/hide)

Ciri (Twinwolf):

Keep looking for the supplies, I guess. Then go back to where the other people were.

[6+1 = 5] (I edited the Timeskip trait a bit since it was pretty useless before)
You end up finding a box flipped on its side, with many of the tools stated on the list present. You're not sure how far you walked away from the pod, but it's no longer raining where you are at least. It's still raining behind you, and the fog is dense enough that you can't see the shuttle, though you know which direction to go.

Items found:
1x thermal lance (use for cutting through metal and drilling holes)
1x genetic sampler (use on wildlife to sequence their genes and compare them)
1x broken handheld microscope (casing is cracked, lenses are fine)
3x climbing gear (contains rapelling kit and insertable spikes)
1x handheld power saw (battery-powered cutting tool)
1x double battery charger
2x all purpose spade

You also find a remote, apparently for controlling some sort of RC drone.

Nole (Slayer1557):

"You're probably right, Night... err... Assass... Do you go by anything shorter than that?  Or more... er... normal?  Maybe 'Nia'?"  He tried to put it tactfully, but probably insulted her anyway.

"The nice lady outside called me Night, so I guess that works," she answers.
"Speaking of her, I think she left to go somewhere. Do you know where she went?"

If/whether or not you answer, [6+1 = 5] you take a look at the manual for the radio communication antennae, which seems to be a commercial product like a lot of things on this expedition.
The readme is located on the shuttle's hard drive.

Quote from: CMX RE Radio Suite
Rangefinding

The CMX RE can measure distance to other shuttles by pinging and receiving a reply from the target, measuring the propagation delay. It performs this many thousands of times per second in order to get an average value over several seconds.

Possible causes of malfunction may include:
-> A damaged electronic clock or CPU
-> Tampering or modification of the shuttle computer
-> Atmospheric or magnetic interference effects
-> A damaged communication antenna

All of these will serve to inflate the measured distance.

The distance is obviously deflated though. Less than 100m is not possible, or else you'd see it. Unless they were underground...

Wait... what if they were? You ask.
Quote from: Shuttle Radio
Well, we can't see the sky, so I can't say if we're underground or not. I actually did notice some irregularities in the flight log, let me check back on it...

...well, it says we hit the ground three times. I'm not entirely sure what that means. Did we bounce?

You have 10 red fish, 1 cooked
You have 6 green fish, 0.8 cooked
You have .9 cooked sand slug

Cueball (Paphi):

"Good work, kid." What the hell did I just watch?

Grab a battery, leaving the circuit closed to the other, of course. Proceed to inspect bags for weapons, food, maps, field guides, anything that might come in handy. He also makes casual conversation to see which know English.

"Heard there's a war going on, fellas. Sorry we dropped by in the middle of it. We don't mean to intervene, but our tech level is, well, obscene. Can't let tech fall into the wrong hands and all that."

You remove a battery and haul it over to the assault gun. The bags contain supplies and food (mostly sandwiches) as well as optics, knives, soap, water, drinks, umbrellas, wood, lighters, an oil lamp, and... adult magazines.

Graves, armed with an SMG, grabs the English-speaking commander and tries to enter your armored car. The door on the car, however, won't open. He tries to wrestle it open but to no avail.
Cabinboy is still inside.

Nyar Donovon (WunderKatze):

Drive over to the fuckers.

"Alright assholes." Nyar yells across to the crewmen, "Hand over your weapons or I'll shoot your fucking eyes out."

Nyar points at one, "You're coming with me fuckhead. If you decide to be a raging dike and run I'll fucking shoot you."

Take any weapons they have and escort one to the armored car giving one submachince gun I had to graves.

Also shoot the fucker if he runs.

"Here let me get this tank moving I'm pretty sure I know how to get it running." Operate the tank and drive it (or let Cueball drive if he wants to) to the location Cueball specified.

Climbing on top and entering the hatch, you prepare to drive the vehicle, [2] but before you do that you feel something press against the back of your helmet.
"Checkmate."
There is a sixth crewmember in the vehicle. He speaks with a French accent like the figure with the greatcoat.
"Now... how about you give us your vehicle, yes? We have many things to discuss at headquarters. Don't turn around."

The sixth crewmember doesn't know this, but your helmet has cameras on the back of the head, and you see him in his entirety. He wears a white uniform unlike what the others wear, and holds a small revolver in hand. His hair is a bright scarlet, too bright to be natural.

Vehicles

Armored Car
Current Armor: +2
Current weapon: 60mm Mark III Gun (Accuracy: 4close/3mid/2far)

7x High Velocity (Power: 4)
2x HEAT (Power: 5)

Renouille A41 Cruise Gun
Current Armor: +2
Current weapon: Turretless 76mm G3 Weapon (Accuracy: 4far/3mid/1close)
Ammunition:
10x High Explosive (Power: 3) (Can hit multiple infantry)
22x High Velocity (Power: 4)

S. D. "Smooth" McGroove (SaberToothTiger):

Look under a seat for loot and then try to seal the door, if it's unsealed.

[1] The seats don't hide anything useful, aside from the SMG's Nyar found. But you do feel a sting at your wounds from the explosion. Perhaps the sand has some nasty space-bacteria that kills people if they get infected with it.

Which makes you infected. Uh oh.

[3] You do successfully seal the door however, using one of the SMG's as a bar to hold the hatch handle in place. Someone tries to open it, then starts forcing it, but to no avail. Mission accomplished!

The terminator robot stands expressionless, his face unable to show much emotion due to it missing half of it.

Press some buttons on the remote, to try to get the car to move. If I hear it or it becomes visible, pick that up, too. Regardless of outcome, take the supplies back to wherever the other people were.

"Guys, do you have some antibiotics or other medicine? I don't feel well."

The terminator speaks:
"The others had medical supplies. I think you locked them out though! Was that intentional?"

Press some buttons on the remote, to try to get the car to move. If I hear it or it becomes visible, pick that up, too. Regardless of outcome, take the supplies back to wherever the other people were.

You hear... a vague buzzing. It sounds like it's from above.

Look for a fire extinguisher switch. Some tanks would have switches which would flood the crew compartment with chemicals in order to save the tank from being damaged beyond repair in the case of a fire. If I find a fire extinguisher switch flip it and throw my elbow around to catch this asshole in the face.

A drone with a pair of bird-like wings falls from the sky and lands in a heap next to you. Due to its low terminal velocity, it seems find. That was strange though.

I try to patch up my wounds.

[2] You don't have any tools to do the job.
(4) The terminator robot whips out his arm, which opens up to reveal a flamethrower.
"I could help with that!"

"You know what. Just fucking shoot me." I'm not being taken prisoner by the space french. FUCK.

[2] There is a switch, but it's on the back wall for some reason.
[5] The frenchman seems rather confused.
"...I can't do that. But I'll do it if I must. Then again, I mustn't..."
As he reevaluates his basic axioms of logic and ethical code, you elbow him in the face. His hair pops off, being a wig, and he drops the gun to clasp his hands around his bleeding nose. The pistol falls on the floor, [5] and you swoop to catch it before he can recover.

This one technically has a rifled barrel, so you're good to go.

((Mmmh mmmmh hmmm sweet 5's))

"Go fuck yourself...." Nyar says triumphantly. "... Outside" Nyar adds after a little thought.

Have this fucker leave the tank and join the other prisoners. "Got another asshole to add to the bunch." Nyar yells out of the turret.

Continue with actions that where interrupted by the red haired (or I suppose 'wigged') asshole.

"Are we finally done here? Can we leave? If anyone needs to take a fucking piss break you might as well go now!"

Cueball angrily herds the captives onto the tank. Not into, onto.

"You! Whitesuit! Tell your boys to get on the back. If you cause ANY more trouble, so help me I'll cut you."

Do the things while revving the handsaw. Give Graves half of my bandages for SD. Stay on the back of the tank with the captives.

Quote from: Radio
"New plan, Nyar. We're gonna drop these asshats off somewhere remote after I talk with them. Graves, Cabinboy, get going. Keep the kid alive, beat the Reichman if you must. We'll meet up at our shuttle. Out."

((We're still towing the pod, right?))
