Magnus is rudely interrupted in his carefully mediated violence by some hooligan smashing a bottle on his forhead. Stunned, he lets the hammer drop from his hand, and it bounces off the pillar to meet with Desmond's head as he attempts to take evasive manouvres. Spluttering from the pain and shock, the poor man sinks below the surface once again, but manages to start thrashing and kicking again and heads up once more.

Janeway peers suspisciously at the windows, alert for any sign of hostile movement. Navarro meanwhile hops rapidly back onto the crane arm, wary of any attack. And that's when Zack smashes an outsize wooden platform into the driver's seat.
The already roughed up missile splinters as it hits the driver's cabin, huge wooden spears flying at her. Janeway manages to get some of her body below the cockpit, but sustains a jagged gash on her arm. She screeches with pain, momentarily disabled, and cradles her injured arm close to her body.
The end of his chain swings loosely, Zack having jolted the wood loose, resulting in the balsam barrage against Janeway, with only a handful of planks still attached.
