Yes, because they don't know her. They don't know if armor or enclosure would hinder her performance.

Things that can go wrong:
Topples over from a different center of mass.
Snags when it shouldn't, because it's got a bigger profile.
Hindered dismount, making it hard to evade the exploding or falling vehicle.
Reduced carrying capacity, meaning she can't haul those crates of ordnance or medical supplies.
Reduced speed, some people think they can outrun me, maybe, maybe... I've yet to meet one that can outrun bullet.

Basically, if she needs armor, she's not using it right.
Would you really want her using her equipment wrong?
I wouldn't trust the armor to survive a cannon shot, so it's best to not get hit at all.

So just let her prove herself, don't fix what's not broken.

They do know that she'd die from the lack of the armor due to the stuff Foxhound regularly goes against. Armor enclosure will help quite a lot.

If you're getting equipment, assume you have recieved training for it.

Ordinance goes in bigger, more suited vehicles. Same with meds.

False. There is no plot armor, only actual armor, if you need armor you're playing the game sensibly. If you don't need armor then you're prolly a corpse already.

Armor would absolutely tank a Gaian Cannon. It would not survive Terran weapons.

Again expect to have been trained in use.

However ye can always go for newsquad.

In general just get the best armor you can and then see what weapons you can afford.
Stay alive long enough and you'll be able to afford a better weapon.

Looks good. Be aware skills are undergoing a revamp so ye may need to rename the skills ye have later. Also Kobolds do get more racial skills.

At age 6, Ricardo's family moved from Spain to Australia, seeking a less crowded living space. He lived in the outback for a year, until child protection services took him away from his family; he had been coming to school with a black eye and bruises more often than not and he rarely had lunch packed. In the Children's Home, he quickly became involved in the rampant bullying rings. He was ten years old when he went to his first foster home. The foster parents worked him like a slave and he was back in Care in less than two weeks. During this time in foster care, his birthday went unnoticed by the foster parents. He runs away from the Children's Home and joins a gang. Ten-Year-old Ricardo spent two years learning how to mug people with the gang. When he was twelve, the gang went too far and ended up killing somebody. Spooked, Ricardo bailed on the gang and returned to the Children's Home. When a Police officer did an information morning with the kids, Ricardo took him aside and attempted to confess. Ricardo made the cop promise to get him out of Care and out of Prison if he snitched, to which the cop offered to adopt him. Ricardo snitched.                   
The cop was upfront with Ricardo. Ricardo would be expected to pull his weight and join the police cadets/force. Ricardo worked his ass off for the only decent parental figures he had. The cop's wife was barren and they had tried to have kids multiple times. He eventually graduated cadets and joined the full police force, quickly becoming a career cop. When he was 32, he was stationed at a riot when a rioter threw a Molotov, which ended up killing his foster father. The next day, Ricardo handed in his badge and murdered the protester who had thrown the Molotov. He went on the run and was given asylum by Akras.                  
Ricardo worked for Akras Australia as a security guard for five years. He turned down an offer to work in a higher paid role at Akras US, which he refused on patriotic grounds. The week after, the Total Recall order came, and Ricardo only just made it onto the last transport. All of his possessions had been left behind in the moral dilemma he had faced, and all were slagged along with the compound. Upon arrival at Akras US, he was offered the position of Team Leader in a Gate Team and a 20 credit reimbursement, which he accepted on the conditions of being allowed to choose his second in command.                  
One month after accepting the position and he is informed that his team will be joining him shortly.

Bio: Anthony grew up in a small village near a monastery. His parents were killed by an Orc raiding party, and was raised by the monks there. They taught him the ways of Elementalism, and instilled a great respect for nature. He had just been inductee into their Order when another Orc raiding party showed up. To defend the town, he challenged their war chief to a duel. If he won, the Orcs would leave the village alone. He used his skills as an Elementalist to defeat him, and the Orcs (surprisingly) honored the agreement. A few months later, Akras took over the town. After they heard of his battle against the Orc warcheif, he was offered a position.
