No. That's the thing about the occult. You can do some really really really nasty stuff with it and it's obscenely versatile.

A Lowtier ritual is fully capable of turning someone into a gibbering paranoid mess provided you have a Picture of them.

A memetic kill weapon with the capacity to Depopulate a continent has been recovered.

We can create artifacts that Violate Thermal Dynamics. Said artifacts can function as Perfect Heat Sinks. Think of how that would enhance heat limited weaponry such as Gauss, Plasma, and Lasers.

I'd imagine the lasers use a system similar to irl electrolasers. A short high intensity burst to ionize a chamber in the atmosphere followed by the actual damaging attack.

Not quite.

More of a stutterfire weapon. It could easily stutterfire obscenely fast to the point of being indistinguishable from a solid beam given sufficient heatsinks.

It's something we should be mass producing actually. The vast majority of military tech has limitations in the form of waste heat. If you just delete that waste heat from the equation then you can get some naaaaaaaasty shit.

I just thought of another use for the Heatsink Stone.

Cooling supercomputers.

Computers are primarily limited by their waste heat output and irl most supercomputer mainframes are built in colder climates. Now guess what happens when waste heat is no longer a factor?
