It's going to take some time, but vehicles are unloaded and formed into a semi-circle with weapons pointing outwards. All Rome Recon drones are launched in every direction to map the surrounding area up and get some general idea of what's what.

Combat Drones are also set around the site for extra protection as gate teams lug what supplies that's been brought with out to store. Once the last piece is out of the Transport, they left to go get the second wave. Now you'll have over a hour to yourselves.


The weather is.. strangely good today. Normally you've always had some light fog that obstruct visibility, but now you could swear you can see for miles away over the horizon of the flat, lifeless plains.

Jenny nestled herself on the squad's IFV with her sniper rifle, while Maximus sets up a campfire. Without your lives being in an immediate danger, you notice that despite the sunny skies and clear view, it's still chilling like it was fogging in late autumn. A and B Carmines are making rounds on the drones to check for any faults and the SPESS MERHEENS shrug among themselves at this strange little man who insists that they call him a god.

Zachary decides to camp inside the gunship Ravager with the boarding ramp firmly closed.
He also transmits some more of FOXsound FM to the FOB and anyone who's listening back on the other side of the gate. "This is Zachary Miller, DJ of FOXsound FM, I am taking calls and requests, up next we have 'I predict a riot' by 'Kaiser Chiefs' followed by some old-school Franz Ferdinand if nobody requests a song." ((I'm going to say that the songs previously requested were played on the trip over))

Frazz goes to the nearest medical transport and begins prepping his stims for usage.

Tal activates the administrative shutdown on Zachary's radio show. "Enough of that. Keep the comms clear for things that are actually important."

There was a collective sigh of relief when Tal turned off Zachary's radio show. Things are settling down some, at least. Though people are still a little on the edge of being on this side of the gate.

Not Foxhound, though. You've been through enough times that just being here doesn't really bothers you anymore. After all, when you fought down hoards of horrors and killed a dragon, you just can't afford to not be awesome.

Vigil sees some of the Techies with Crowbars and welding tools approaching The Ravager. Looks like he's going to get in one way or another!

Tal's map on the surrounding area continues to grow as the drones survey the area. The flat, open plains will make building an easy matter. Though the drone that's heading towards the Castle's direction detected a gathering of heat signatures clumped together on the side of a cliff, they don't appear to be moving from their location nor have they noticed the drones yet. High-powered cameras gave visuals of what looks like the creatures that attacked you while you were dreaming clinging onto the cliff's face and each others, resting or something.

If you had just drove passed them and not look, they could've rained down on your caravan and wreck some good shit..

Zachary swivels the 20mm cannon around to face the techies and Vigil

Tal activates administrative override, allowing the door to swing right open and the ship and weapon controls to lock. He does not tolerate stupidity of this tier. Especially from one who should know better and was warned about it.

Anyways. Rome surveying the horde is to monitor it from a distance and alert if anything changes.

A second Rome is to circle around and scan the castle proper. Avoiding the nesting ground.

Zach recalls how the ejection system works.

Aria is also going after Zach. She might not be a melee person, but that doesn't mean she can't throw a punch...

Zachary is now trapped inside the Ravager with Vigil, Aria and a few Technicians just outside the now-opened ramp with nothing between him and them anymore.

He recalls the ejection lever under his seat that will pretty much turn his seat into a rocket and shoots him out of the cockpit at mach speed.



The second Recon drone circles around  the nestling ground that's being watched by the first drone and head towards the Castle. It's just about as big as you remembered them last time, with oversized steps, three entrances and large, Large castle structures and walls that is no doubt filled to the very brim with things that wants to murder you. Nothing seems to notice the drone just yet.

Zachary holds onto the ejection handle, "One step closer and I'll eject..."

And just to note, for safety reasons, the Ejection system could not be Adminstrative override.
