"Sweet, I am holding off on taking a crafting Profession right now, until I figure out some good strategies, but my general plan is to dip into A bit of Alchemy for making weapon buffing oils and people buffing potions, since my class limits me to Pratfalling onto enemies and using low-level farming equipment for weapons."

"I watched SAO until it became unwatchable, around the time they got married. The best way to go about this is get a mundane job and just stick to it. Besides, it's not like we know how to get out so why risk our lives?"

Alex checks his bag for any useful items like spellbooks, money, potions, etc. He then goes to a pet shop and see if they have any cheap animals (mice, guinea pigs, etc.) for him to buy.

V seems to be slowly realizing what's happening.

"...Guysh? Where'sh the menu...?"

He then holds his head in his hands and starts whimpering.

"Not happening. Not happening. Not happening. Not happeningnothappeningnothappeniiiiiiiiiiiing"

Check possessions for anything I might have on me.

In one corner of Shikanduo, Shiine stands, confused. A feeling of fear washed over her, as she stumbled to find reason as to why she feels she's in direct control of her character.

"W-Wait, this isn't funny... Let me open the menu."

For once, she went out of character. After all, it is quite unusual to be in direct control of anyone's character.

"Ahah! There's the log-out butto- wait no... NO, NO, NO!"

The log-out button was greyed out. She can't leave.

"This is some kind of a sick joke..."

Tears run in her eyes. For one, she had a family to return to. A daughter she could no longer see. Distraught, she wanders Shikanduo aimlessly, looking on at others' reactions to the situation.

Shiine wanders the place, looking for a way out.

Hephaestus waits at the edge of the square, watching the reactions of the other players. Perhaps he's just a bit more composed, or perhaps the shock of the event hasn't set in, but he remains calm as he fails to open his menu. Noticing all he has are common clothes, he makes his way over to the closest blacksmith shop, hoping to use his reputation with the owner to borrow some tools and materials. If that works, he heads over to a free anvil. Noting that he can't bring up the forging menu, he picks up a bar of iron and places it on the anvil. He starts hammering away at it, envisioning a sword in his mind and trying to make the iron form it. He silently hopes some sort of system protocol will assist him during the forging.

Go to the closest smithy and try to make a sword.

"Hopefully, this works."

Read the scroll aloud while making the same motions my character did when activating Gate scrolls before the menus were lost, while thinking of one portal appearing in the town square, and the other one appearing two inches from the center of this world's sun. Try to persist this as well. The utter destruction of the planet should cause a server reset, hopefully fixing the menu bug.

The Black Knight sees Shiine wandering the streets, passing by him while he was 'taste-testing' the food stalls. He could see she was obviously distraught. Maybe she had a barbecue to go as well?

"Yo! Shiine, c'mere," he says, holding out a stick of skewered slime and rat. "The rest of this patch sucks, but they added in taste for the food, man!

"Perfect, Now we can get started."

Go to city limits, scouting around to re-familiarize myself with the area surrounding it.  Then hit up some mates for a good old fashioned run-and-loot through some type of jungley area.

"Going to get plantz, need m8's."

The surrouding area is filled considered a completely natural area. It is woodlands and fields. Think Missouri (if you've ever been there, you'd know what I mean). The only "monsters" are various natural animals.[/i]

"Sweet"

You walk into the woods.

Your bag is empty and you have no money for pets. There is a pet shop, but you have no cash.

V seems to be slowly realizing what's happening.

"...Guysh? Where'sh the menu...?"

He then holds his head in his hands and starts whimpering.

"Not happening. Not happening. Not happening. Not happeningnothappeningnothappeniiiiiiiiiiiing"

Check possessions for anything I might have on me.

You only have the starting "commoners clothes" due to the universal inventory wipe.

In one corner of Shikanduo, Shiine stands, confused. A feeling of fear washed over her, as she stumbled to find reason as to why she feels she's in direct control of her character.

"W-Wait, this isn't funny... Let me open the menu."

Tears run in her eyes. For one, she had a family to return to. A daughter she could no longer see. Distraught, she wanders Shikanduo aimlessly, looking on at others' reactions to the situation.

Shiine wanders the place, looking for a way out.

There are several town gates, but no ways to exit the world.

He starts hammering away at it, envisioning a sword in his mind and trying to make the iron form it. He silently hopes some sort of system protocol will assist him during the forging.

Go to the closest smithy and try to make a sword.

You walk in to see a blacksmith who seems to have burned his hand quite badly. He turns to you and says, "You forge? Good. Get to work. It looks like the smithery is available for your use. Immediately afterwards someone walks in, grabs a glaive, mumbles something, and walks out.

On my way out grab a glaive and tell the smith to put it on my tab.

You snatch a glaive from the closest blacksmith.

You read the words and flail a little bit, but nothing happens. You try again a little differently, but still nothing happens. After a few other very frustrating attempts you scream the word and push your arms forward (more out of exasperation than anything). The scroll immediately glows and a portal begins to open. However, it immediately begins to shut again. An error screen pops up as the scroll burns to ash "All portals and teleportation spells have been deactivated."
