Spoiler: AS-RPG28-B (click to show/hide)
You use tandem HEAT to defeat reactive armour - not slat/spaced armour. Developing tandem HEAT will only add to ambitious without being useful at all.

Glory to Arstotzka.

Yeah, because IRL slat armour is AT BEST 50% effective, instead of the 100% effectiveness here, so there is no need to use tandem HEAT to defeat it. Here, Sensei told us that the only way our troops had of damaging their vehicle was to hit twice at the same spot. Which is exactly what tandem HEAT does.

This. If I were to move off of the pistol(and I'm not, as this is a good point to get it functional and not worry about it ever again) it won't be for tandem charges, which are a solution in search of a problem right now. Simply fix the warhead so it flies straight throughout it's entire flight time and MAYBE you have something(still not gonna switch)

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

I think its 100% effectiveness has more to do with the awful angling of our RPGs. Fixing that should lower their effectiveness dramatically.

Do you guys even bother to read my posts? And what do you mean "angling of our RPGs"?

I think a suppressor would be pretty good, actually, while I doesn't make the quiet *thwip* they're thought for, they can still capitalise on our patience trait.

I think he means the fact it's not very aerodynamic, so aiming for where the slat armor ISN'T is rather hit and miss even at close range.

AS-SP30: Revision of the AS-1909 pistol. Now with less jamming! A fairly reliable pistol, includes a threaded barrel for suppressors if needed. Now also available with hollow-point ammo.

You gained Suppressors, Hollow Point Ammo

production phase! how do we use our bombers?

obvious one is to destroy emplacements of all kinds, just like artillery. But we have an airplane, so we can go beyond that.

for example, we could attack their industry. how many bombs can their mines take before they must shut down?

raids on the town we are attackingto destroy fortified buidings, create rubble corridors to isolate sections?

still no love for night raids? if we paint targets with flares , our bombers should be able to find them. As for finding the right direction, the town is near the front lines. for the most part we can get a line of fires to guide them.
Although, if we can drop flares on the buildings we can also drop artillery shells.

All of these are good ideas, though effective night bombing isn't gonna be easy, or really possible with current tech. We'd be lucky if the planes flew over the right town, much less right neighborhood, flares and fires be damned. Though, if they do manage to get to the general location, yeah flares would be useful.

we control the land up to the city border. direction airplanes wouldn't be hard, just set up a string of bright objects from the airfield to clsoe to the town border. From there they break up and navigate by artillery dropped flares.

Call it the "Hansel&Gretel" navigation system.
( possibly lay out more than one path, so that the path of our bombers isn't too predictable)

Also, flares should be dropped at random times, even when a bombing run isn't planned, just for cheap psychological effect.

Huh. We have suppressor technology. Neat. I wonder if that'll give us bonuses to Espionage actions, or at least assassination missions.

Glory to Arstotzka.

Yeah! Useless pistol FTW!

Anyway: Load HP ammo in all our SMGs
Bomb industry and railway using our new bomber.

our bomber isn't long range. we can hit their mines, but not their industry. I think.

I dunno, we're getting pretty close. At the very least we can bomb the railroad they use to bring troops to the battlefied.
