As Kain rushes into town he immediately knows something's wrong. He yells at one of the monks who just barely manages to point at the literal monsters in the trees.

"Damn, I've never seen some of these before. Be careful men!"


Needless to say, the real fight started now.

Two of the patrols swooped down on Valerie. She managed to avoid one of them using the cover of the trees but it wasn't enough to protect her from the other patrol. The last patrol, despite what had happened to his fellow patrols before him, swooped down at Nantale, he was more than surprised that he wasn't dead.
