Cyryl put his boot against the chest of the dead acolyte and yanked his lance free with a crunch and spray of blood. "Not that it's an option at this point." Cyryl turned his attention to the wyvern riders, muttering to himself. "Damn everything in sight or otherwise. Stranded in a foreign land filled to the gills with racists and my company can't stick to the damn plan and pick a fight with the local band of murderers in plain view of everyone."

Elysia looked at the commotion and began sifting through her book.

"I really wanted to be an illusion mage here..."

She looks at Nantale, then at the acolytes who probably seem aghast at the act, then nodded apologetically at the rest of her party-mates-who-aren't-that-known-yet-to-the-locals.

"You have fugitives within your ranks. Zealous murderers. I am sorry for this. Same to you good people who took us under your wing; I am sorry for lying to you."

Val sighed and dropped to all fours as she transformed. Their cover was already blown, so they might as well get to fighting their way out. She would just find a good spot to ambush from.

: "Not... Strictly yours, huh..." That wasn't a good sign, all things considered. It meant someone could come open this at any time, and with it open, they had little chance. She didn't exactly know how well this guy could fight, or if he even wanted to fight. "Well, uh... Is the other way safe? There seemed to be another gate at the other side. "Do you have the key for that one too?" If they could go out that way and keep running, then they could probably get away again. Either way, it seemed something was happening, as the sounds of screaming acolytes coming from the center of town, over the walls. "Well, that's promising. Maybe."

To be honest, the racist jerks were to his dislike and if the group came upon any human supremacists attacking monsters, it was rather likely Aenbarr himself would have been the one to break disguise first to help the monsters. Still he felt his stomach sink as their slim chance of going about unnoticed disappeared in a shower of gore in front of him, courtesy of their newest addition. The tarvos was never supposed to be a fighter and he could only hope something good crawled out of the bloodbath that was sure to follow. He noted with some bitterness that at the very least he'd be going around four legs once more.

He'd need a long bath and a bowl of fresh apples after this was all over.

"Hey." he called over to Eneas, not surprised he'd been disturbed by the gory display. "We'll need to keep moving after this. Do you need help?"
