Starting to race towards the other men, he pulled himself up, knowing that trying anything here would result in him getting attacked here. He growled under his breath and gripped his sword hilt tight, waiting for the situation to resolve itself.

"Hm. You have no quarrel with Monsters, then?"

"So who are those rats, then?"

"I was born in Ardis, people don't care whether ye be monster or human there. They just care if yer strong. So I don't care either, some o' me crew were monsters till these sine killed 'em."

Jack looked at Larini for a second before shrugging.


The Relians o' course."

Hanna smiles.
"I already like you guys much more than the other ones. Ardis, right? Are they sending any ships over here, or is it only Relin?"

"...the who?"

[Twinwolf]

"The guys we killed."

"This spider knew that. I was asking who the Relians are. Not heard of Relia."

Eneas couldn't fully understand what was happening right now, let alone form any coherent thought. He was too frightened to try anything and stood still with the taste of cold steel round his neck.

Jack looked at Larini for a second before shrugging.

"Good I would hate to have to take this boat again."

"So we murdered, or at least assisted in the murder of, the prince of a foreign power. Whoops." Cyryl rolled his shoulders. "Larini raises a good point though. I've never heard of these places. Where are they?"

[Twinwolf]

"No, we didn't murder him. We gave them multiple chances at diplomacy, which he ignored."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Still. I feel a lot more comfortable fighting during the night. Gargoyles aren't exactly know for fighting in the daylight. Ambushing is a very effective way to solve problems."

Lestat crossed his arms against his chest  plate and grumbled again under his breath.

"But if they are still going to aim for 'diplomacy', I doubt we will be doing any ambushes. We might be the ones getting ambushed."

[F.O.E.]

"Only Relin be sendin' ships; only ones with the know-how. And if Ardis could they wouldn't, too absorbed in explorin' the labyrinth."

"They got plenty more of 'em, the king's like a rabbit. Tyson was one o' the lowest competency wise so they sent him 'ere ta get rid o' him or at least humble 'em."

"'Cross the ocean o' course! Whole other world out there, who woulda guessed."

"You're in no position to negotiate, Domini. Now go deliver our demands to the High Inquisitor."

Pancras looked as if he were about to explode from sheer rage alone.

"I'll see you dead for this, Passan," he growled and with that he and his guards retreated into the words. Once Torves was sure they were gone he gently placed Eneas on the ground. Seeing the fear on his face Torves tried to comfort Eneas somewhat.

"Rest assured young Domini, you aren't actually our hostage. You'll be treated fairly until I can make the proper arrangements for your protection. Can't have you run off and get yourself killed."

"How long did it take to get here? Do you know why Relin is sending ships to explore? And what is the labyrinth?"
